This international mountain bike race in the HC category has become a spring classic at a high level in the mountain bike scene. Once again, this year, 800 athletes from over 20 nations, including world champions and reigning Olympic champions, are expected to take part to this special event. Furthermore, Nals was chosen again for the “Junior Series” status, which is the World Cup for juniors. The race on this challenging course in Nals is often used by the top athletes as a final endurance test before the World Cup race!

On 27 June 2025, the legendary Stelvio road will be closed to motorised traffic
for the first half of the night and will be completely open to cyclists and pedestrians.
The last seven kilometres of the 'Berghotel Franzenshöhe' before the summit will be magically illuminated by indirect lighting to show participants the way to the 2,757-metre peak.
Whether on foot, by (E-)bike or other non-motorised means of transport;
everyone is invited to take an enjoyable journey along the Stelvio Pass road at night on June 27, 2025

1,869 metres in altitude, 48 hairpin bends and an incredible all-round panorama await cyclists who get into the saddle at the Stilfserjoch Bike Day.
Every year, the legendary pass road on the Stilfserjoch - one of the highest passable Alpine crossings - is closed to traffic for one day and only opened to "two-wheelers" and pedestrians.
A starting point for the Stilfserjoch cycling day is in Prad am Stilfserjoch or also in Spondinig. On this popular cycling day, the aim is to conquer one of the highest Alpine crossings, the 2,760-metre-high Stifserjoch. Not a bike race, but: Being there is everything!

Safety and road closures:
The road closure for motorised vehicles (except e-bikes) applies from TRAFOI to the top of the Stelvio Pass (BZ) from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The same closure applies from Bormio to the top of the pass (LO) and on the Siusi side, the Umbrail Pass!
Helmets are compulsory for your own safety.
Being there is everything! You do not need to register for the start in Prad to take part in the Stelvio Cycling Day.
There is no mass start! Everyone starts for themselves.
The best start time in Prad is from 6.30 am to 10.30 am.

For the 19th time now, the environmental group of Kaltern, together with the umbrella organisation for nature and environmental protection, the environmental group and the municipality of Eppan, is organising the car-free cycling day on the Mendel - a visible sign of active climate protection.
The road is closed to motorised traffic from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. from Oberplanitzing junction to the Mendel Pass.
So it's free to ride for cyclists!
