The bakery in Kastelruth is a family firm that has existed for several years. In the bakery, South Tyrolean specialties such as wheat and rye breads, baked goods such as cakes, pastries, cookies and cookies are produced daily. The e-bike charging station is located directly at the Messner Joch hut in Tiers. The hut is located on the E-MTB Tour "361 Tschein link trail" und "359 King Laurin Trail Tour" and is very easy to reach by bike.

The Saltner hut is located in Saltria and is very easy to reach by bike. There you will also find a station to recharge your e-bike.

Seis am Schlern is getting ready for a magical Advent and Christmas season!
In addition to the ice rink in the village square with skate rentals, there will be fascinating magic and fire shows, great live bands, contemplative Advent concerts, and atmospheric Christmas stories, providing a varied program.

The hamlet of Tisens stretches down a southward slope to the west of Kastelruth. St Nicholas´s Church stands in the middle of the community, and its pointed tower defines the village´s general appearance. Tisens was mentioned for the first time in the urbarium (register of fiefs) of Count Meinhard II of Tyrol. The first written mention of the church , together with other filial churches in the Parisch of Kastelruth, was in 1353 in connection with the granting of an indulgence. It was expanded and given a vaulted ceiling in the 16th c. According to the inscription on the western gable, the roof´s framework was altered in 1712, and the furnishings were supplemented and restored under Dean Bamhack. around 1880. The wooden-shingle roofing was renewed in 2019.

In our own farm restaurant in Val di Fiemme, savour our homemade Speck ham, salami, sausages and regional meat specialities, produced following our own handed-down, traditional family recipes.

 

We are the First Vegetarian Hotel in the Dolomites. Our contemporary vegetarian cuisine focuses on organic products and plant-based food delivered from sustainable suppliers. Vegan dinner of tasting menu. Reservation 24 h in advance.

The church is of Romanesque origin, and its dedication to the archangel also point to its antiquity. However, St. Michael´s Church is not mentioned in any document prior to an indulgence certificate from 1353. Parts of the masonry above the base of the church itself and in the tower are still from the Romanesque period. Gothic modifications were carried out after 1465. The nave was not provided with a vault until the 17th c.

At the Gostner Schwaige you can find an E-Bike charging station for free. There are available some plugs to charge the battery.

The small but charming ice rink in Castelrotto is a true highlight amidst the festive village atmosphere! Open daily from November 30 to January 12, both young and old can enjoy pure ice skating fun here. Skates can be rented on-site. The ice rink is centrally located in the village square, right next to the enchanting Christmas market. While the children skate around, parents can stroll, enjoy the festive ambiance, and listen to live Christmas music.

Witch Martha The Witches´ Chairs remind us of the Schlern witches who met on the Schlern mountain to celebrate their rites. Together with the Witches´ benches they constitute the resting place for the witches. We accompany you on "your dream tour", whether on hiking trails or via ferrata, we secure you in alpine climbing routes or on challenging glacier tours. The possibilities are endless. For our state-certified mountain guides, conscientiousness and experience as well as a justifiable risk behavior are in the foreground.

By charging your vehicle at the e-charging stations, you have the certainty of using only renewable energy - energy produced without CO2 emissions in the hydroelectric power plants of Trentino-Alto Adige.

The Funpark for kids at the village lift offers a winter experience full of fun and activity – perfect for beginners on skis or with sleds. Here, little ones can sled down the slope and conveniently ride back up with the conveyor belt – again and again! The Funpark is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Please note that there is no sled rental on-site – sleds can be rented at K&K in Seis am Schlern.

Chapel of St. Zyprian/S. Cipriano

The paintings on the outer wall of the 17th century represent the wonderful rescue of the "Platzliner" meadow. God father flashes out the clouds, the Saints Cipriano and Giustina protect the meadow and his flook with their coats. This painting shows that the colonization of Tires did not begin in today's centre, but in San Cipriano.

In the center is the store Natura, a small but nice pastry and grocery store. Here you will find a selection of strudels, pastries, bread and groceries. All products are made with the highest quality standards and freshly prepared. For special occasions or requests you can also order a cake at Natura, made according to your wishes.                               

The Spitzbühl hut is a large hut and has a charging station in front of the hut.

Kastelruth's exceptionally imposing, free-standing bell tower already beckons to visitors from a great distance. The tower and church form a captivating achitectural ensemble together with the town hall and the houses built around the church square by leading citizens. It is no coincidence that this village's historical core has been selected as one of the most beautiful in Italy.
The Parish Church of Kastelruth – also known as the “cathedral on the mountains” is dedicated to the apostle princes Peter and Paul. The parish church is an example of Viennese engineering.
