The newly opened “Heualm” is located at 1,933 m above sea level surrounded by green flowering alpine meadows, larch trees and the Dolomites. The tranquillity of nature, the breathtaking all-round panorama and the wide and lush alpine meadow make this place special. Due to its idyllic location, delicious South Tyrolean culinary specialities and warm hospitality, the small alpine hut is a popular destination for hikers and connoisseurs. The Heualm can be reached comfortably by foot, by mountain bike or by horse-drawn carriage. From Compatsch via hiking trail no. 7 and no. 6 with a duration of approx. 1 hour or via hiking trail no. 30 and no. 6/6b with a duration of approx. 1 hour.

Whether a South Tyrolean snack, bacon dumplings with goulash, potato dumplings with cabbage or classic Eisacktaler Schlutzkrapfen - all our dishes are homemade. And we use as many products as possible from our organic farm and cottage garden.

Under the sign of the raven, Stephan Pramstrahler of the Grottnerhof in Fiè produces multifaceted wines, all of which carry the name of a different bird – “A bird with great character,” as Pramstrahler emphasizes. For the old Grottnerhof, winegrowing in any case means a new future.

In 2007, Pramstrahler, who runs the Hotel Turmwirt in Fiè, purchased the dilapidated Grottnerhof in Novale di Fiè and thoroughly renovated it – with a great deal of care and respect for the history of the farmhouse. Thus great pains were gone through to preserve the traditional wood-paneled Tyrolean Stube parlor, the curing kitchen, the oven, and the vault over the hallway. “In the cellar, there are even still old wine barrels that tell of earlier times,” the owner tells us.

And the barrels fit perfectly, since in its new life, everything in the Grottnerhof revolves around wine. Or, more aptly: around multifaceted wines with lively, mineral-rich tones and a special finish: Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir that reflect the character of the surroundings. And those of the people who stand behind them. “The maturation of our wines takes place in stainless steel tanks and in large wooden barrels,” explains Pramstrahler. “That requires great attention and a lot of patience.”

What remains is just the question about the “birds with great character” that decorate the labels of the Grottnerhof bottles that were designed by artist Florin Kompatscher. And especially the question as to why the common raven was chosen as the “coat of arms bird”. The answer is simple: not only is the raven indigenous to the Novale di Fiè, it can also be trained very well. And above all else, it is highly intelligent.

Homemade South Tyrolean specialities provide a welcome refreshment at lunchtime. The hut is just five minutes on foot from the Saltria bus stop and 100 metres from the valley station of the Florian chair lift, which is in operation both in summer and in winter. During the winter season, the ski slope leads directly to the hut.

Sesselschwaige, a cozy alpine inn on the slopes of Mount Sciliar A perfect hiking destination at the Sciliar, one of South Tyrole‘s best known landmarks Sesselschwaige is located about an hour's hike below the vast plateau of Mount Sciliar. Surrounded by green pastures, not far from a clear mountain creek, the inn is popular for taking a break on the way up or down from the Sciliar and its chalets. But the charming little alpine hut is a perfect destination itself and rewards the hiker with typical local culinary delights, fresh dairy products and splendid views of the surrounding woods, slopes and peaks. Since the cottage has no access road and can be reached only by foot, there is true peace and quiet to be found here. Here, you can still get in touch with nature without getting distracted by tacky decor and noisy crowds. The hike itself from Fiè allo Sciliar, Tires or Alpe di Siusi is reasonably easy and poses no major challenges

Innerperskoler farm is located in sunny Aicha di Fiè, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut groves. The altitude of 700m above sea level favours both viniculture and cattle farming. In 2014/15 the Prieth family, the current owners, established a farmhouse inn where local South Tyroleans and tourists alike are welcome to delight in the fruits of the harvest.

The swimming pool is an outdoor pool and is open during the summer months from mid-June to August. It features a large swimming pool with two trampolines and a separate children's pool. Additionally, there is a spacious sunbathing lawn, changing rooms, a children's playground, and a restaurant. A large free parking area is also available for visitors.

The Arnika hut on the Bullaccia/Puflatsch offers walkers, hikers and skiers a friendly place to stop for refreshment. A beautiful sun terrace, cosy inn and children’s playground all situated in the midst of either a sea of alpine flowers or a winter wonderland. NO service of return on the slopes for skiers.

À la carte breakfast & bistro Like the mighty Sciliar, watching over the village, the Regina also belongs to Siusi. We are well aware of the tradition this establishment holds and therefore follow the motto "back to the roots". We believe in quality over quantity. Hosts Michael, Anni and Max look forward to preparing refreshments for you in their traditional hut. The Rungger hut is situated on the outer edge of the Alpe di Siusi on hiking trail no. 5 below the Spitzbühl and next to the Spitzbühl slope.

The Restaurant Furschermühle is located below Seis at the Furscher Weiher lake.

The Sanon hut is one of the most original huts on the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm. Hosts Magdalena and Raffael look forward to your visit and to welcoming you to the Sanon hut. Enjoy the typical cosy South Tyrolean atmosphere and homemade dishes: the Sanon hut is easily accessible on foot, by mountain bike or by horse-drawn sleigh.

The Alte Gasthaus am Weiher is located directly by the Völser Weiher lake.

Our mountain hut is located on a sunny hill in the middle of unspoiled nature on the Alpe di Siusi at 2011 m altitude and can be easily reached in summer and winter. The hut is reachable from Ortisei by the cablecar Alpe di Siusi and then on the footpath nr. 6 in approx. 20 minutes. From Compaccio you can reach the hut in 40 minutes walk.

The restaurant "Schönblick" invites gourmets to enjoy with its unique panoramic location. The highlight of the restaurant is the spacious panoramic terrace, here you can experience a breathtaking sunset on balmy summer evenings. Guests are spoiled with regional and original dishes, a fine selection of wines and homemade ice cream. Every Wednesday barbecue evening in the summer.
