The ideal destination for the whole family, located in the hiking and skiing area Klausberg, reachable also by mountain-bike and with baby strollers. Our restaurant lies next to the Family Park Klausberg with water world, balance parcour and dinoland. Enjoy traditional dishes and local specialties.

In the cold season we are the ideal destination for winter hiking and snow shoe hiking. In addition our restaurant lies on the toboggan run “Kottersteg”.

As the way to someone’s heart is through his stomach, we at the “Alter Schlachthof” select our products almost exclusively from local farmers and selected suppliers from the immediate vicinity. Because only using fresh, natural and high-quality ingredients, we are able to create dishes for you which are delicious and healthy at the same time. This applies to South Tyrolean classics as well as forays into the international cuisine, vegetarian and vegan variations and titbits which are suitable for guests with food intolerances.

Vinus the wine shop in the historic center of Bressanone has established itself since 1998 as the most outstanding address for the successful combination of wine bar and kitchen. Peter Kantioler was able to marry a perfectly good glass of wine with the traditional local and the Mediterranean cuisine. Food lovers are spoiled every Wednesday and Friday (dinner) and every Saturday for lunch. In summer you can take advantage of the garden, the only one of its kind in Bressanone. The Almrosen hut is accessible via trail no. 7 from Compaccio/Compatsch and via the Hans-and-Paula-Steger trail, which also starts in Saltria. Family-run grill and snack bar with traditional meat dishes, innovative burgers, salads and vegetarian dishes. Ideal for the all appetites, and for afternoon outings. In addition to our large playground, we offer a beach volleyball court with authentic sand and a relaxed chill-out lounge. The restaurant's kitchen offers an extensive menu of Japanese dishes: sushi, sashimi, nigiri, uramaki and much more. Not only raw fish dishes but also cooked for those who do not like raw fish. The traditional cuisine is called nihon-ryori in Japanese.
