    Flavor thrives here

Inspired by the abundance of aromatic fruits that grow and thrive at Hof Falkenau in South Tyrol, we have decided to process and refine natural products to a high standard ourselves. In this way, we guarantee our guests an intense flavor experience. Our range of high-quality products extends from fruit spreads and syrups to meat products, honey, and tea blends - farmhouse moments of pleasure are guaranteed.

Flavourful, juicy................. the world of fruit

Our fruit spreads and all-natural syrups are the best ambassadors for naturalness and authenticity. Using traditional recipes, we process the berries, flowers, and fruit varieties from our farm garden into fruit spreads, or alternatively, into new, innovative flavors in a bottle.

    Herbal power from South Tyrol

Experience the power and energy of natural herbs. Dried flowers and leaves from our own farm are the main ingredients of our special tea blend. The optimal climate in South Tyrol gives the herbs a particularly intense flavor and their natural calming effect.

    Genuine flavor from South Tyrol

You can taste the passion for tradition and quality when you savor our farmhouse bacon from our own pig farm. Characterized by the special alpine climate, the speck is refined with a secret blend of spices. In addition to our speck, you will also find the typical South Tyrolean Kaminwurzen sausages in our farm shop, optionally with game or beef, as well as our own salami, pancetta, and lardo.

The liquid gold from the mountains - honey

The variety of flowers in South Tyrol gives our honey its unique flavor. In almost untouched nature, our industrious bees collect the valuable nectar, process it into aromatic honeydew, and finally give us a natural, healthy honey that delights with its fine, sweet flavor.

The stone pine - Queen of the Alps

We also rely on the best quality for our stone pine pillows. The regional stone pine wood, with its special essential oils, has a positive effect on our bodies. The effect of the stone pine brings us into a pleasant state of relaxation and increases our general well-being. A gift from nature.

    Philosophy and Tradition

Our family business is set in the midst of the South Tyrolean Alps at an altitude of 850 m. Our name stands for tradition; we have produced essential oils and herb products for four generations. Our raw material derives from high alpine altitudes and is ethically supported by the surveillance of rangers in order to maintain the balance of pasturage. The herbs cultivated derive from our own produce, according to organic, certified agriculture. In order to maintain the plants’ energy, which determines the high quality of our products, our customers can trust our handcrafted produce from harvest to filling. Our 110-year-old tradition as well as our produce and harvest according to the moon calendar allow us to do so. We are dedicated to obtaining not just quantity but also high quality-produce. Our concern is to offer our customers 100% pure and high quality essential oils and herb products that contain a high proportion of herb ingredients and agents. One egg is the same as another. Or not?
Our organic chickens live in the mobile stable in the middle of our meadows, so our chickens get fresh grass, air and sun. We also keep dual-purpose chickens. With “dual use” we mean eggs & meat, which means that the meat of our organic chickens is also used as soup chicken after their active time as laying hens and the male chicks are also raised. Unfortunately not a matter of course these days …But for us an affair of the heart! ♥

In our SELF SERVICE store you will find 24-hour fresh organic eggs and organic egg pasta made with "Gsiesa Goggilan" eggs (Val Casies Valley eggs). In addition Kaminwurzen and Speck, organic chicken soup and organic chicken organic roast chicken.

Even if ethical and sustainable use of our earth’s resources is important to you, eggs from dual-purpose chickens are a matter of course! Why do organic meadow eggs cost more than normal free-range eggs? The workload with a mobile stable is greater because it gets a new place in our meadows around every 2 weeks and additional feed and water have to be brought to the stable.
In addition to the higher costs for the purchase and rearing of organic laying hens themselves and the larger land requirement per animal provided for by the guidelines for organic agriculture, it is above all the costs for the feed that have an impact on the books. Grains and pulses in organic quality are much more expensive than corresponding products from conventional cultivation.

Our chickens only get certified GMO-free organic feed. Due to the good feeding, the fresh grass and the great freedom of movement in our meadows and fields, our organic meadow eggs simply taste better and contain a particularly large number of vitamins (A, D, E), healthy omega 3 fatty acids and carotenoids. That is what is special about our organic meadow eggs!

    Monpiër de Gherdëina
    Urtijëi/Ortisei, Dolomites Region Val Gardena
Monpiër - from "mo n pier", the typical Ladin phrase pronounced by those who want "another beer" - is the name of the first craft brewery in Val Gardena.Founded in Ortisei in 2016, born from the desire to get involved by Carmelo, Diego, Jan and Tobia: four people from Val Gardena who have found a common denominator in beer. Monpiër beers take their name from the surrounding mountains and their respective heights and are a dedication and hymn to the beauty of the Dolomites. Our 1000 liter manual batch system allows our brewer a lot of flexibility in the construction of the recipes and styles to be produced. In our laboratory, low fermentation beers are born, high beers and exploiting the local microflora we carry out a wooden project of spontaneous fermentations. Selected malts and a skilful dosage of hops combined with pure high mountain water from the Cunfin spring located at the foot of the Sassolungo are a guarantee of high quality. Monpiër is proof that craft beer can be simple, drinkable, immediate - and at the same time incredibly seductive. In addition to the beers produced by our brewery, we offer a vast assortment of over 70 national and international craft beers in our Labetula brew pub.
