For many years, our company is a competent partner for fruit wine-making, for gardening and domestic animals. The area "homemade" offers accessories and services for the domestic production of wine, fruit juices, beer, cheese and much more.

Visit our nine thematic stores: gardening, pet shop, fruit-wine, oenology, home-made, home decoration, tools, workwear and water shop. In divisions "wine" and "homemade" there is all for the production of wine, brandy, juice, beer, jam, cheese, sauerkraut, as well as products and accessories for drying, fumigation and preservation, both professionally and at home.
In the "garden shop" you will find a lot of flowerpots, garden tools and other equipment. Our pet shop offers a wide range of leading brands of food, all accessories for pets and even live animals.

The Christmas market of Algund is a meeting place for friends who like a very special atmosphere.

Decorated sales stands offer original, big and small gifts, but also small souvenirs. Steamingly hot drinks, traditional treats, heavenly smelling Christmas biscuits and homemade specialties invite you to linger.

Gastronomic stands offer hot drinks and dishes. In addition, one gastronomic stand offers South Tyrolean specialties.

Highlight: 
A lovely little christmas train runs for free every hour, from the center of Meran to the very heart of the Christmas market of Algund.

At Atelier Alpinart you will find knitted, felted and sewn items. All handicraft techniques that are reinterpreted and realised with great creativity by owner Monika Kienzl. Whether felt soaps, slippers, bags or rucksacks, even felt shoes can be commissioned on personal request. See for yourself and visit the studio at the end of the village of Schenna.

My name is Karl Heinz Windegger, born in 1962. I live in Lana (South Tyrol) and run a small fruit farm. In 2005 I attended my first woodturning course in Val d'Ultimo.

Today I exclusively produce unique items from local woods such as apple - walnut - cherry - ash - alder - cedar - Swiss stone pine and other woods. The assortment ranges from spinning tops, tea lights, jewellery, decorative objects, to bowls, vases, globes, salt and pepper mills and much more. If you are interested in taking a look at my woodturning workshop, visit me in my workshop and experience the craft at first hand. In my small farm shop I have exhibited all the unique items I have made.

Thanks to its diverse and distinctive natural and cultural landscape, the Schnalstal Valley is one of the most fascinating valleys in the entire Alps. The discovery of Ötzi, the glacier mummy, and the annual driving of sheep – the transhumance - over the main ridge of the Alps, are proof that hunters and shepherds have been travelling through the Schnalstal Valley for thousands of years. The wool in these slippers (potsch) comes only from Schnals mountain sheep, which are perfectly suited to life in this Alpine region. The felt is made in one of the most prestigious loden and felt factories in South Tyrol. The wool in these felt slippers has proven itself, for example, through optimum thermal balance and tremendous durability. The ipotsch product are warranted for hand made, ecologic and etic production. The slippers "ipotsch" are available in the tourism office a Certosa/Karthaus.
