The Alta Badia valley, the green valley at the heart of the Dolomites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been a popular destination for leisure cyclists for years. At first it was racing bike enthusiasts who loved the mountain passes, but nowadays the Dolomites region in South Tyrol is also a magnet for mountain bikers.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of fun – it was this motivation which in autumn 2014 broke the ground for the Piz de Plaies trail in San Vigilio. The trail is filled to the brim with jumps and banked curves. It's only a short ride up on the Pedagà-Piz de Plaies cable car before the track winds back down into the valley on a mad series of bends. Not a single section of this trail is straight, so prepare for active riding and leave your fear of steep passages at home. It's a guaranteed buzz! Suitable for true pros and medium-advanced riders.
The Jump Line, a variant of the Cör Trail, is the ideal route for experienced and demanding bikers. Riding through woods and meadows you can fill up on adrenaline while having fun on jumps of various heights and sizes. And to experience all the energy of the descent, easy drops and kickers.
Two FotoTraps, real photographic traps, will immortalize your passage.
This route links Völs am Schlern with Seis am Schlern and leads through variety-packed meadow and forest land at the foot of the Schlern, along well-surfaced bike paths through the Völs hamlets of St. Anton and St. Konstantin, past the idyllic St. Konstantin chapel and the St. Vigil golf course to Seis am Schlern.
With the "Mans Trail" the Bike Beats “menu” offers even more adrenalin. After the Heart, the Eye, the Veins and the Breath, it's time for the Hands. The Trail Mans - in Ladin language hands, of moderate difficulty, calls for a sensitive touch and careful attention while riding along a fun route, where the trick lies in finding the optimal equilibrium between manual technique and balance.
Tour 027
Panoramic route via Costa dei Nosellari/Haselsberg.
This tour is also suitable for e-bikes.
Spectacular Dolomite peaks and legendary mountain passes: The Sellaronda is one of the most beautiful and popular circular routes in the Alps and offers all kinds of exciting options in winter or in summer. One of these is the Sellaronda mountain biking tour. The tour requires a good level of physical fitness and mountain biking experience, because there are some tricky climbs and a few difficult descents to manage. However, for the last few years there has been the option of avoiding some of the particularly steep climbs by using lifts, making it possible to complete the tour in a day.
Following the Sellaronda MTB Tour Anti-Clockwise there is a total height difference of about 1.020 m to be cycled uphill and several descents through single trails or forest roads. Therefore it is more suited to those who enjoy cycling uphill on your MTB or e-bike. The time needed to complete the tour varies according the ability of the biker: from a minimum 6 to a maximum of 9 hours, with a lunch break included.

A wonderful mountainbiking tour that is not too difficult. The Innerfeldtal valley is impressive for the views of the mighty peaks of the Sexten Dolomites which come ever closer as you cycle along.
This tour is also suitable for e-bikes.
For the sporty ones, who want to earn the panoramic view on the Seiser Alm, we recommend the Bulla variant. This tour is particularly recommended for mountain bikers of a high level, and at the same time it offers the chance to prove your technical skills. It is a difficult route and intended for the absolute professional bikers.
The trail “Ödli” is ideal to enjoy the Dolomites in all their beauty. Ödli means eyes in the Ladin language and it is with their own eyes that taking the easiest of the Bike Beats trails, bikers will have the opportunity to admire the magnificent scenery.
The trail extends along the right slope of the Piz Sorega for a total length of 1460 m and an altitude difference of 142 m.
As an alternative option to the Seiser Alm cable car, you can tackle the ascent with pure pedal-power. The advantages: The road is car-free from 9am to 5pm, so nothing can get in the way of the fun.
A heroic ride through the empire of the Ladin legend Dolasila
She was beautiful, she was brave and she was smart: Dolasila, the Princess of Fanes and a legendary warrior, led her people on the battlefields of what is today the national park Fanes Senes Prags. Her story is packed with magical creatures and glorious victories, with treachery and deceit. Ride through the setting of this Ladin national epic on the Fanes Senes-Tour.
A Ladin Epic:
In ancient days the high plains of Fanes were ruled by a ruthless king. His beautiful daughter, however, was just the contrary. In a sign of gratitude for her compassion, the dwarfs at the Silver Lake in Canazei rewarded her with a white armour and unfailing arrows that made her invincible. After her first great battle at the Kronplatz the warrior led the Fanes people in a series of victories. Yet Dolasila was also exposed to treachery and deceit – from her enemies, but also from her own people...
This mountain-bike or e-bike tour treats bikers to a view of all of the Kings and Queens of the Dolomite mountains, including the Marmolada – Queen of the Dolomites, the majestic Langkofel and Plattkofel, King Laurin and his Rosengarten massif, and the Schlern in all of its legendary might. The route leads from the Eggental Valley to the Fassa Valley and on to the Gröden Valley, followed by a stretch through the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm and back to the set-off point. A little treat in this version of the tour: a great loop via the Langental valley, the Regensburger hut and the legendary St. Jakob church for even more Dolomite flair and enjoyment. Given its length of 105 km, we recommend taking this tour in a few stages. If you opt to use an e-bike, it is possible to cycle the full length in one day, stopping off at one of the countless mountain huts to recharge your bike along the way. You can choose to begin the tour from any one of the valleys it covers.

Thanks to several chairlifts and cablecars the height difference to ride up by bike is relatively small in the clockwise route of the Sellaronda MTB TOUR. There are several descents on bike trails, which require a medium level of bike practice. The time needed to complete the tour varies according the ability of the biker: generally from 5 to a maximum of 9 hours, lunch break included.
The Alpe di Siusi is probably the most ideal "playground" for bikers who want a relaxed tour combined with breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomites. Europe's largest high alp offers not only breathtaking panoramas on this tour, but also a great mix of ascents and descents for pleasure bikers.
This line is a more technical and “rocky” version of the Furcia trail featuring sections littered with roots, boulders and carved berms. Suitable for experienced riders who are comfortable handling their bike throughout rough terrain.
Level: medium to difficult
This tour is for all those who would like to enjoy the beautiful panorama view, but do not dare to ride up the moderately difficult trail on their MTB and to cycle up over 900 m of altitude. Thanks to the lift support, only a few metres of altitude have to be mastered with your own steam. The last meters, you can expect a nice access with a pleasant incline, up to the Resciesa alp.
The Bridge Line is a variant for the last section of the Avëna Trail. The path that descends along the last stretch of wood on the slope of Piz Sorega has a spectacular view of the town of San Cassiano.
Demanding and varied circular tour on San Vigilio local mountain. Includes some the most peaceful routes to one of the most highly developed mountains in the region. Tip: You should not forget to include a visit to the MMM Corones (Messner Mountain Museum)!
The Resciesa tour is a moderately difficult tour with rewarding panoramic views.
The consistently steep gravel road leads from Ortisei through the Resciesa forest to the Resciesa area. Due to its characteristic steep incline and treacherous descent, this tour is only recommended for experienced bikers with good physical condition. The effort of the 900 m of ascent is rewarded on the Resciesa alp with a breathtaking view of the Dolomites.
