One of the oldest and nicest regional churches in Tyrol.

Special masses are held on all Catholic holidays. The parish church is open daily throughout the year.

The Parish Church Saint Cyriak was originally a gothic building. In 1851 the church was newly build (consecration in 1854).

Two churches overlook the Piazza Cappuccini.
One is the Church Cappuccini and the other the Church of Santo Spirito.

This irregular building shows that the church was built in different periods, from the 13th to the 16th century. In the church stands the famous "Madonna with the infant Jesus holding grapes" by Michael Pacher. In the attached Egererkapelle, frescos from the Michael Pacher school.

The Capuchin monastery (since 1626) and the Capuchin Church are kept very simply, in line with the principles of the order. Continuing along the Dantestrasse, at the road junction to Dietenheim you will find one of the oldest and most beautiful shrines in Tyrol.

Parish Church with a valuable crucifix by Michael Pacher and an organ, built in 1983 by Mathis, the biggest in South Tyrol.

All Holy Masses are held in German, except where indicated differently.

Built 1345 and transformed into the Baroque style in 1675, has an attractive onion shaped dome and interesting coats of arms.

Gais has recently been enriched with a historical jewel-
 culturally.  After years of preparatory work, the
 mortuary skin, the so-called “ossarium”, has been transformed into
 in a small museum and made available to the public.
 The centrepiece of the museum is a cycle of frescoes from the period
 late-Gothic with a Universal Judgment unique in its
 gender and, next to it, the works on the redemption of
 poor souls, a kind of catechism for believers
 who at the time could not read.  In addition,
 admire the priestly vestments of Castelbadia  (Miscellaneous
 precious casulas) in a glass case and St. Constantine II
 (a complete skeleton) in a reliquary.

The church in Haselried was first recorded in 1436. The Church is build in a late Gothic style.

Built at the start of the 15th century in the Gothic style, the frescoes in the church are by Johannes of Bruneck and date from around 1420. The crypt of the Ursuline Church is the oldest part of the entire cloister building and dates from the period around 1410; the crypt space is almost empty, but hugely atmospheric - sanctified by centuries of the silence of the dead.

Built in 1652. The black Mother of God with Infant Jesus is worth a visit. After the Mauren begin the stations of the Cross leading to the most popular place of pilgrimage of the middle Pustertal: Maria Saalen. The little pilgrimage church "Unsere Liebe Frau von Loreto" was built in the 17th century and once had a hermitage. The entrance has the year 1652 written on it and on the top right-hand side a modern painting of the Blessed Virgin of Loreto. The gable of the altar shows the Annunciation, and below the Black Mary with the Infant Jesus, Saints Anne and Joachim, and above the doors Saints Joseph and Sylvester.

The bronze sculpture by the artist Josef Rainer on the Rathausplatz was ceremoniously unveiled on 19. 04. 2017, on the occasion of N. C. Kaser’s 70th birthday. Nobert Conrad Kaser was a South Tyrolean poet and writer, born in Brixen in 1947 and died in Brunico in 1978. Texts by N. C. Kaser were also engraved on the steles at the Town Hall Square.

The Earth Pyramids in Percha - Several hundred years ago there was a landslide caused by a storm, which cut off the existing cart track between the Thalerhof and Aschbach. It would have been easy to fill in the gap with earth, but nobody did it, as the route was not an important one. In 1882 there was again a great storm, and a large trench formed. Through repeated flooding and washing out of the side slopes, these loamy pillar structures remained standing where the heavier stones lay. The earth pyramids change constantly, and new pillars form all the time, especially in winter and spring. The erosion area is situated at a height of 1550 to 1750 meters above sea level and is the most significant incidence of earth pyramids in the Puster Valley, particularly because of the many different sizes of formation.

The church is build in Gothic style and is dedicated to St.Nikolaus.

Beautiful, renovated Baroque church with onion roofed steeple. The original hospital church was consecrated in 1370. Inside on the altar pieces of the high altar representation of the baptism of Jesus and of the side altar St. Elisabeth by Franz Unterberger (1707-1776).
