    An unique botanical attraction, the highest rosary of Europe waits for you at the Hotel Uhrerhof in Bulla. Discover the variety of 6.000 roses of more than 150 various species. A steep mountain hillside was transformed into a garden park filled with flowers and perfume. Enjoy the beauty of nature! From July to September every day from 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. along the hillside at the Hotel Uhrerhof in Bulla. Dogs are not admitted.

    Historic garden of Novacella Abbey

    The historical garden is situated at the entrance to the monastery complex. It reopened in summer 2004 following extensive restoration work. The sequoia tree towers imposingly over the rear part of the garden, with the impressive centuries-old ginkgo trees directly opposite. The pretty baroque garden with its myriad flowers and herbs and beautiful fountain is laid out between them.

    The court gardenis part of the Hofburg ensemble and is an oasis of peace for the city's many guests. The garden, decorated with flowers and herbs, is adorned with a valuable bronze fountain from the Biedermeier period.

    Orchid World Raffeiner
    Gargazon/Gargazzone, Meran/Merano and environs
    Over 12,000 plants are grown in our 6,000 m² greenhouse, including more than 500 different species of orchid, producing a kaleidoscopic effect of natural colours, forms and scents. 

    At the Raffeiner Orchid World, children have their own designated area in which to let off steam, while a number of didactical-learning stations show how orchids are grown. 

    Our nurseries are open to visitors who wish to know about how these diverse flowering plants.

    Wooden Sculpture Park Luttach/Lutago

    In the free accessible sculpture park in Luttach/Lutago you can find many sculptures from different artists. The sculptures are the results of the annual Wooden Sculptors'  Symposium in Ahrntal valley. Come by and marvel at the impressive insight into artistic creation.


    The sculpture park is located in the direct vicinity of the water park in Luttach/Lutago (Near the fire station). Parking-Zone is available.

    The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle
    Meran/Merano, Meran/Merano and environs

    Art and nature have been blending since 2001 at the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, set in a natural amphitheatre on the eastern outskirts of Merano, with more than 80 garden landscapes from around the world and several unique Experience Stations, including ten Artist Pavillions and a spectacular viewing platform designed by star architect Matteo Thun, in addition to attractions the Botanical Underworld and a „Lovers’ Garden“.

    For this gorgeous picture and the innovating spirit that lies behind its conception, Trauttmansdorff was named Italy’s Most Beautiful Garden in 2005 and Europe’s No. 6 Garden in 2006. Its subsequent crowning as International Garden of the Year in 2013 launched this unique complex in the firmament of world’s most beautiful gardens and parks.
