The women's giant slalom on the Erta has now established itself as a renowned race and can no longer be missed in the ski scene. The Erta slope is quite impressive - with a length of 1,325 m, a difference in altitude of 405 m and a maximum gradient of 61%, it demands the fullest skill and a large portion of courage from the participants.

World Cups have already been successfully held in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 & 2023. Up to 250 young talents from 25 nations are expected on the Ritten to compete for the desired medals and World Cup points. Participants will include competitors in the Junior A and B categories (ages 15 to 19) and Neo Seniors (ages 20 to 23), potentially featuring three athletes from Ritten, provided they qualify. These athletes include Maybritt Vigl, Romedius Thurner (both Neo Seniors), and Carmen Thurner.

From 20thto 22nd of March 2025 takes place the 17th edition of the Marmotta Trophy in Martelltal Valley.
