Once again this winter, on December 12, 2024, the world’s best snowboarders from numerous nations will compete in an exciting parallel event on the challenging Pra di Tori slope in the Carezza ski area.
Following the competition, the aftershow party will take place in the party tent from 3:00 PM onwards!

Val Gardena is a paradise for skiers regardless of their level: newbies and passionate amateur skiers spend their holidays in the valley. However, for a few days a year, the skiing slopes of Dolomites Val Gardena attract the creme de la creme of skiing. And you, as our guests, will have the opportunity of following the skiing stars live from the edge of the slopes as they battle for a place on the podium of the FIS World Cup.
The history of the World Cup in Dolomites Val Gardena goes back to the 1970s. The Saslong slope is one of the most beautiful and well-known stages of the world cup, what with its famous and feared ‘camel hump’ and speeds of up to 100 km an hour. The Ski World Cup took place in 1970 in Dolomites Val Gardena, among other places; on that occasion the whole skiing world set its eyes on the Saslong slope. Women and men took part in dozens and dozens of races on the slope as well as on the region’s other famous slopes: Ronc, Ciampinoi and Cir. Today, a super-G and a men’s downhill race take place in Dolomites Val Gardena once a year.
Local celebrities and international legends fulfilled their dream of one day being the winner of the FIS ski World Cup in Dolomites Val Gardena. Among the winners of the downhill we have known skiers such as Peter Müller, Rob Boyd, Michael Walchhofer and Kristian Ghedina.
Pre-Christmas time is San Candido time: from 21st to 22nd December, the FIS Ski Cross World Cup will take place in the holiday region 3 Zinnen Dolomites for the 15th time. Fans of the "Formula 1 of skiing" can once again look forward to a total of four spectacular races at the Monte Baranci.

TWO RACES, ONE UNIQUE EVENT
From December 21st to 23rd, the Ski World Cup returns to Alta Badia. Elite competitors will once again show their talent on the slopes with an adrenaline-fueled exhibition of skiing excellence.
The difference between legend and also-ran can be a fraction of a second. And you will get to live and breathe every moment. Share the excitement with other enthusiasts as the competitors cross the finish line, where every last curve is the ultimate test of nerve.
Once more, in this 39th edition, the world's best ski racers will battle on one of the most difficult tracks in the white circus.
The unmissable spectacle of the men’s giant slalom taking place on the Gran Risa, in the heart of the spectacular Dolomite mountains.
From Alberto Tomba to Bode Miller and Marcel Hirscher, there are many champions who have triumphed on this track, which is one of the hardest slopes in the world.
During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.
The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year.
From 29 December to 1 January 2025, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco.
The Coop Fis Tour de Ski 2024/2025 will open like fireworks on 29 December 2024 with a sprint in the free technique. The classic individual race will take place on 31 December and the crowning glory will be the pursuit race , with a new unique course overlooking the Three Peaks on 1 January 2025.

At the FIS Telemark World Cup on the slope „Masaré“, directly below the Rosengarten in the ski area Carezza Dolomites, athletes from around the world engage in an exciting sprint race competition over two days. The various obstacles they must overcome, such as giant slalom, jump, the 360 and skating, are very interesting for numerous spectators to watch.

On January 21, 2025, the Audi FIS Ski World Cup on the Erta slope goes into the next round!
The women's giant slalom on the Erta has now established itself as a renowned race and can no longer be missed in the ski scene. The Erta slope is quite impressive - with a length of 1,325 m, a difference in altitude of 405 m and a maximum gradient of 61%, it demands the fullest skill and a large portion of courage from the participants.

From January 23th to 26st 2025, Anterselva will be unleashed once again. Come and help us cheer at the exciting races, when the great Biathlon family will meet once again in Anterselva! Share the thrilling moments with the athletes at the shooting range and support them crossing the finish line. The famous atmosphere that reigns in the stadium, and along the race course, is very contagious and guarantees unforgettable days of Biathlon in the Südtirol Arena in Anterselva, at the foot of the impressive mountains of Vedrette di Ries.

The world's best junior speed skaters come to the Ritten again.
On the 1 & 2 and the 7 - 9 February 2025, the world's fastest open-air rink in the Ritten Arena will once again be the venue for a major speed skating event.
The Junior World Cup is the second of the four stages of the Junior World Cups.
World Cups have already been successfully held in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 & 2023.
Up to 250 young talents from 21 nations are expected on the Ritten to compete for the desired medals and World Cup points on Saturday and Sunday.
The organizing committee is particularly pleased about the participation of 2 speed skaters from Ritten.
