After a 2-minute ride by private car and a subsequent hike (approx. 20 minutes) you reach the excavation site, where you will search for Geodes of Teis under the expert supervision of a collector. Note: Due to Paul Fischnaller's advanced age, the excursion will be led by another experienced collector. Tools are provided by the museum. Hiking boots recommended. In the case of drizzling rain, the tour will take place anyways. If it is raining more heavily the tour will be postponed or cancelled. Participation at your own risk! An exciting, informative and entertaining circular hike in a culturally rich settlement area rich with a visit to the rustic farm Ausluger (12th century) and its charming farm shop where you can buy the farm's own products which are produced under the seal of quality "Roter Hahn" from 100% regional production. In a short bus ride we sustainably reach the beautiful market town of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo (810m/starting point). On partly unmarked unknown paths, walking through meadows and forests, accompanied by beautiful views of Brunneck/Brunico and the Rieserferner group, we cross the Onsberg (939m) and reach the farm "Ausluger", including a visit to the rustic farm, located in the idyllic village of St. Martin/San Martino. After our stay we pass the village characterized by the striking Michelsburg and farms and reach the western end of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo. In the face of the imposing Sonnenburg/Castelbadia we hike to the beautiful village of the same name (830 m). An exciting traverse under the Sonnenburger Kopf (937) through the "Hazelnut Tunnel" awaits us. With a magnificent view over the valley widening of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo we reach the last section of the hike. This leads us along the rushing Rienz back to the starting point. Longing breathes in our souls, the silence of the mountains lets us hear the voice of our hearts: A mountain hike to the panoramic Col da Lech. Here, at 2,175m, a fantastic panorama of the Dolomites and the main Alpine ridge unfolds. Not only do our eyes widen, but so do our hearts! A short drive takes us to the tranquil Ladin mountain village of Welschellen/Rina. Free parking at the sports field/starting point (1,512m). First we hike gently uphill, with surprising views of the Dolomites, to the enticing Welschellener Alm/rest stop (1,947m). We soon reach the tree line, behind which wide, gentle mountain meadows stretch out. We cross a ridge to reach the Col da Lech summit cross (2,175m), which can be seen from afar. The hike continues gently up and down to the nearby, enchanting Glittner lakes. The way back (skipping the Col da Lech) is partly on the outward route. Gabriele Ciot, from Cortina d'Ampezzo, has been passionate about drawing since a young age, graduating from the Cortina Art Institute in 2006. He later took watercolor and drawing courses and exhibited his works in exhibitions between Cortina and Padua. He prefers trees and mountains as his subjects, fascinated by the shapes and contrasts that light creates on them.

We wanted to gather world class goalie coaches from all over the world to train in the most beautiful sorroundings. Small groups and attention to detail is our first priority at the CCM Goalie Camp. With the CCM Pro Goalie Camp, we wanted to put a lot of focus on each goalie, so that every minute on the ice is designed to make you a better goalie. Instead of running countless drills, we want to focus on a few specific drills and go into every detail. Everything is given in order to create an optimal training environment. Not only is it an unbelievable place to train, but it is also an unforgettable experience with fellows of the so called special breed.

Simple and linear forms define the artistic work of Andreas Senoner, whose journey as a woodturner began two years ago. For Senoner, the work begins long before he actually starts turning at the lathe. Always in search of special pieces of wood, the creative craftsman finds his raw material on farms and in the surrounding forests—some finds he even brings back from his travels. Nature also serves as a source of inspiration for Senoner when it comes to shapes and colors. Some pieces are burned, others treated in different ways, but the artist always manages to preserve the true value of the wood and its natural appearance. The shape, the color, the growth structure: everything is made and kept visible, revealing the story of the tree from which the finished piece has grown. Andreas Senoner (born 1962 in Selva di Val Gardena) began learning the carpentry trade at the age of 14. In the workshop, he discovered his passion for wood—a passion that has never left him. The shapes and colors of trees, the vitality and power of branches that defy wind and weather, hold a deep fascination for him. From this fascination grew the desire to learn the art of woodturning. Shortly after retiring, Andreas Senoner acquired a lathe and quickly realized he had found his true calling. “It’s incredibly exciting to observe how a piece of wood transforms through my work. My many years of experience as a carpenter help me to understand the properties of the wood and what I can create from it,” says the artist.

Living heritage of the Dolomites The travelling exhibition with 20 impressive panels was designed for the 50th anniversary of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. The open-air exhibition shows pictures of the impressive landscape of the nature park and the diversity of flora and fauna. The exhibition also tells of the beginnings of the mountain refuges and of the people who live and work in the nature park.
