Dolomites Farm was born out of the desire to go back in time. We wanted to raise these wonderful animals and rediscover the work of the farmer. Working the land while also offering experiences to our guests seemed like the perfect combination. From this came the idea of alpaca walks, where their slow and relaxing pace allows you to admire our magnificent mountains. In addition to this activity, we work with the wool from our animals to create clothing, yarn, quilts, pillows, and much more.

A series of routes with increasing difficulty able to meet every expectation, from the simplest for the younger ones to the most acrobatic for the more expert ones.

Prices per person:

• € 9,00 for the first route (fuchsia) - € 4,00 for every repetition, up to max. € 25,00
• Green, orange, blue and red routes:
  • € 17,00 for one single route
  • € 25,00 for two routes, also different from each other
  • € 5,00 for every further route, up to max. € 35,00
•  Only visitor: € 1,50

The park is only open in summer.

We are Patrick and Sylvia, husband and wife, and in 2020 we founded La Spezialité. Combining our food knowledge, we personally and sustainably seek out authentic and genuine products offered by the farms and small producers of South Tyrol. La Spezialité offers a vast array of food, including homemade desserts, a wine selection and a section for artisanal cosmetics.

One of our goals is to introduce our customers to the taste and tradition of our valleys.

The project "Respect the mountains" aims to raise awareness of environmentally friendly conduct among visitors, locals and tourism professionals in the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage. It seeks to encourage everyone to act respectfully and responsibly in the mountains as well as in everyday life. Its key topics are drinking water and waste prevention.

South Tyrolean tap water is drinkable and of a high quality. But water, including our drinking water, is a rare and precious commodity.
The project "Respect the mountains" teaches tourism professionals, locals and guests about the high quality of our tap water and how to use it carefully and respectfully.
Marked refill spots are available in the villages and on the walking trails for visitors and locals to refill their own water bottles.

At the foot of the rocky walls of the "Grup dl Sela" or Sella Group, the most imposing massif of the Dolomites, you can admire the evocative “cascades de Pisciadú”. The waterfalls, which can be reached from Colfosco with an easy walk through a large clearing, are particularly impressive in spring when, thanks to the thaw, they are rich in water.

 

With more than 30 years experience, the optician shop "Optik Willy" is the reference point for your eyes in Alta Badia. It provides a wide assortment of sunglasses and prescription glasses, binoculars, altimeters, instrumentation for photography as well as sports watches.

The whole Alta Badia region is one big playground in the summer with its meadows and woods. But this, for us in Alta Badia, wasn’t enough: The beautiful nature was the basis for the design of enjoyable game parks.

Each of the six towns of Alta Badia has therefore at least one game park for children: in Colfosco there is one by the pine wood and another one by the farmhouse park.

A shop nestled in the beauty of the Dolomites, where personalized compositions are created to capture the essence of nature.

At the entrance to the village of Colfosco, a peaceful area surrounded by nature awaits – the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with your family under the shade of larch and fir trees. Along an easy path, you’ll meet geese, rabbits, chickens, sheep, and alpacas, and reach a small educational hut which was once a grain mill. In the heart of the park, you’ll find a little lake and a watermill – symbols of old farming traditions and the transformation of grain into flour. Kids can play in the fortress-shaped playground, where they are free to climb and play safely.  The park is open every day, all year round. In winter, most of the animals stay warm in the barn, but the park remains open and offers you a chance to enjoy nature in every season.
