Enjoy genuine dishes with a taste of tradition. The Piccolruaz d'Alfarëi family offers typical Ladin cuisine with a fixed menu in one of the oldest farmhouses in the Badia Valley. Situated four minutes from the centre of the pretty village of Badia, the restaurant has been run by the same family since 1645. Thanks to a long agricultural tradition and a deep connection with the land, it offers you an experience that will take you back in time, tasting the products of the farm and dining in the traditional STÜA and the cosy STANGODE. This small farmhouse represents a combination of passion and tradition, where food becomes an opportunity to taste the true Ladin culture.

We also serve homemade juices, local wine or a fresh beer. Our farm tavern in Jenesien welcomes you with its panelled parlor in Swiss stone pine and a cosy ambience. Here you will find just the right refreshment for in-between meals and a welcome stop after a long day of hiking. At our rustic wooden tables, you will gain a good insight into how hard work, the magic of a unique landscape and a hearty meal with a good drink go hand in hand here in South Tyrol.

Moar zu Viersch - an idyllic retreat for indulgence and coziness. The tavern in Verdings/Pardell, above Kloster Säben, invites hikers and Törggelen guests to experience South Tyrolean hospitality to the fullest. Surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, countless hiking trails (including the 'Keschtnweg' or the 'Birmehlweg'), and ancient chestnut trees, Moar zu Viersch promises a special destination, especially in the autumn. In summer, the farm also serves wonderfully as an event location. Here, one can escape everyday life and fully enjoy the beauty of South Tyrolean nature. From early October to late November, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the tavern opens its historic 'Stube' and invites guests to traditional Törggelen. Our traditional farmhouse inn offers you a cozy place to relax and recharge your batteries with a picturesque view of the Texel Group. It is particularly important to us to bring our farm products closer to our guests and to present them on our small menu. We bake fresh bread every week and serve it with South Tyrolean specialties such as the Marendbrettl with homemade bacon, smoked sausages and alpine cheese. Our spacious basement offers the possibility to celebrate your wedding, your birthday, your family celebration or your anniversary in a rustic full of Story ambience. Besides homemade products, which mainly counts our tender beef, we offer products of Völser farmers and farms.

We bought this breathtaking farm in 2023 and converted it into a farm tavern. The farm ‘Af Egg 35’ is an extreme farm that clings to a steep slope on the Vinschgau Sonnenberg. It is situated at 1670 metres above sea level directly on the Vinschgau High Mountain Trail. It can be easily reached from the St. Martin im Kofel cable car mountain station near Latsch in a westerly direction in approx. 45 minutes. For experienced hikers there are also very interesting hiking trails from Latsch Goldrain or Schlanders to us. Walking times between 3-4 hours. We look forward to seeing you! The Kaserer family

Winklerhof farm was first mentioned in records in 1314. Typical seasonal dishes from the Eisacktal valley mainly from the farm itself are the crowning glory or a rewarding walk along the Keschtnweg path. Guests can while away the time with a glass of wine on the sun terrace beneath the walnut tree or in one of the two rustic parlours. Open from mid-September to the end of November from midday to midnight with closing day on Monday and Tuesday. In spring also open on weekends by appointment. The farm also offers farm vacations.

"Buschenschank" - Tyrolean tavern with home cooking

Our farmhouse tavern can be found right on the Merano High Mountain Trail and the Hochmuth cable car mountain station, and is the perfect starting point for a multitude of different hikes. We will be delighted to serve you with our own farm produce and hot food throughout on our sun terrace. Home production of speck bacon and Kaminwurzen smoked sausages. We can be accessed via the Hochmuth cable car; via the Vellauer Felsenweg trail, from the Leiteralm along the Merano High Mountain Trail; via the Tiroler Kreuz inn.

The mansion called ‚Wassererhof‘ is located on the foot of the Schlern close to a nearby wellspring. The homestead dates back to the year 1366. In 1996, the father of the twins Andreas and Christoph Mock bought the run-down homestead. After a renovation, the homestead has become an amazing ensemble of buildings emitting a sense of gentleness supported by an expressive architecture. Now the Wassererhof is a winery and a ‘Buschenschank’ (a traditional seasonal farm inn) with familiar management. The two brothers cooperate, helping each other with solidarity and this is the guarantee of their success. Andreas is the cook. The traditional cuisine is his top priority: fresh, homemade and surprisingly refined. The twin Christoph is the farmer and the winemaker of the Wassererhof. For generations they have broadened their knowledge in wine culture both in the vineyards and in the winery with the objective to press a wine of outstanding quality and taste.

Welcome to the tavern Burgschenke

The Sattler hut is situated at the foot oft he Denti di Terrarossa in the heart of the Dolomites. The hut offers local dishes and homemade Strudel and cakes. The Sattler hut is accessible via Panorama on trail no.2 and via the Laurin hut on the gravel path.

The Pirchhof lies on the Sonnenberg near Naturns, right above the Meran High Altitude Path and offers a unique view of the Vinschgau valley. You will be able to enjoy typical South Tyrolean products mostly produced on the premises on the sunny terrace or inside, far away from everyday life. The Pirchhof offers Farm Holidays too. Open daily from Mid-March to Mid-November, in December only at weekends. Orders for evening meals only taken in advance.

Farm-to-table dining-our restaurant Those who like to enjoy sustainable food will fall in love with it in our restaurant and the concept of zero-km-food. Regional, seasonal, high-quality and organic ingredients end up on your plate, on your fork, in your spoon and in your glass. Anyone who thinks organic is boring will be shown otherwise: Take a seat and embark on a new culinary journey. The small menu offers dishes and specialities that change with the seasons, which will delight both big and small connoisseurs. And because even the best food doesn’t taste good without a cosy atmosphere, we have thought of everything. Floor-to-ceiling glass fronts bring nature in and give you a clear view of it: the flower meadow and playground, the cottage garden and the stables with animals to pet and love.

In 2010, our farm tavern was opened on the farm Eggerhof in Verano. Since then, the cosy farm offers yet another attraction. In the spirit of alpine architecture, plenty of wood was used for the interiors. This natural material creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere and gives social gatherings in the evening a romantic mood. Enjoy your evenings in the farm with a glass of wine in a classic setting. Spinach dumplings, barley soup, spicy meat platters, smoked meat and homemade sausages delight the palates during Törggele time. The new wine is tasted and chestnuts are roasted – served with the traditional hard bread and sweet donuts. During Törggele time in Burgraviato you will be seduced by the delights of the South Tyrolean cuisine and enjoy the good company at the tavern on the farm Eggerhof. Closed in winter.

The historic Lafogl farm is situated in a fantastic location just below Castelrotto/Kastelruth. It features four cosily furnished holiday apartments with space for two to four people. The daily "bread roll service" and the breakfast basket with tasty farm products, which the Rier family will bring to your door every morning if you wish, will get you ready for your adventures in the Alpe di Siusi/ Seiser Alm hiking and winter sports paradise. The Lafogl farm is also a traditional “buschenschank”. With lots of love and passion, farmer Regina prepares all delicacies from scratch and completely by hand. At Oberlegar farm the farmers really know how to dish up a treat. Both farmhouse parlours and the sun terrace are perfect for savouring delicious food in good company. The Schwarz family’s hospitality and a drop of the house wine complete the experience perfectly. Open from the end of March to the end of May and from end of September to the start of December. Both dining rooms at Larm Hof farm have been home to lots of generations. Today it is the guests at this ancestral farmhouse that liven up these time-honoured rooms. The farmhouse fare served up reflects the best of Eisacktal valley traditional food, too. The Winkler family invites guests to enjoy a generous farmhouse breakfast with lots of farm products as a special feature in spring.
