The Ebensperger family: PUNI distillery
Lavishly packaged, original South Tyrolean whisky is the work of Albrecht Ebensperger. His passion for the Scottish elixir of life inspired the Ebensperger family to found the PUNI distillery in 2010 in the Vinschgau valley, where ideal conditions for the production of this excellent whisky exist. Grain production has a long tradition here, as the region was the breadbasket of Tyrol during the Middle Ages. Because local grain types grow with exceptional quality, PUNI whisky is composed solely of regionally cultivated rye. The cube-shaped distillery building is also highly interesting from an architectural standpoint.
