However, we would also like to offer our guests perfected Mediterranean cuisine. Our talented chef fuses these two traditions, creating new and extraordinary dishes. We pay close attention to the ingredients used, following a simple principle: We only purchase products that we would personally use when cooking for our own children. Our guest operating with restaurant and pizzeria is located in St. Sigmund, is centrally located and the starting point of various excursions and hikes. We are about 10 km from the Kronplatz. Between the Alps and the South Tyrolean Dolomites, AlpiNN by Norbert Niederkofler is located at the summit of Kronplatz at an altitude of 2.235 meters. The restaurant is housed in the same building as LUMEN, a unique museum dedicated to mountain photography. Pristine nature and breathtaking panoramas make this place truly special. In every season and every direction, stunning landscapes unfold in their purest form. Here, mountains, tradition, local culture, and culinary innovation merge into a one-of-a-kind experience. AlpiNN was created as part of a revitalization project in the former mountain station of the old cable car and opened in December 2018. The restaurant quickly became a meeting point for gourmets and mountain enthusiasts, perfectly embedded in the stunning natural surroundings. The design, crafted by Martino Gamper, follows Norbert Niederkofler’s "Cook the Mountain" philosophy.

For lunch and dinner you can enjoy delicious Italian and South Tyrolean specialties as well as excellent pizzas.

Floor-to-ceiling glass fronts bring nature in and give you a clear view of it: the flower meadow and playground, the cottage garden and the stables with animals to pet and love.

When a ski day at the Kronplatz is over, that does not mean that the fun has to come to an end. This is when the fun in the Après Ski Giggeralm at the Kronplatz valley station started. Our team invites everyone, whether young or just young at heart, to a happy get-together. The DJs providing good music and will put everybody in a good mood.
