E-Quattro is a small, family-run pizza laboratory. The special flours we use have different milling methods and therefore our pizza is light and easily digestible. We are very careful in the choice of our ingredients. Genuine eating is our effort, try us!

The name Mauriz was already mentioned in 1752 in a sales agreement. At that time, the Mauriz was used as a stable of the inn Morizen “Mauriz”, which belonged to the Sanoner family. Josef Anton Sanoner emigrated to France and came back only at the beginning of 1810. He bought the whole estate and called the inn “Adler”. In 1903 Johann Babtist Sanoner enlarged the inn and added walls to the wooden building. In the stable, which had beautiful cross vaults, there were many horses, which were used by the guests for riding tours and for coach tours. In 1985 a part of the wooden scaffolding of the interior construction and the old cross vaults, under which you are sitting now, were saved from demolition. The old wood was used for the interior decoration of the disco “Mauriz”. We have rented the building in 2003 and, with a lot of effort and particular attention to detail, have turned it into the restaurant and pizzeria Maurizkeller. A patterned green door opens to reveal low lighting, period lampshades and velvet upholstery. Ancient wooden panelling, a dresser, and family heirlooms. A cosy enviornment with the intimacy of a traditional Ladin stube. The few tables are laden with cuisine celebrating the artistry and spontaneity of nature. Authentic flavours cooked at a slow pace, striving for excellence: myriad alpine and Mediterranean dishes with plenty of surprises. This is Suinsom, meaning "on the summit" in the local Ladin dialect. An original sensory expedition, an excursion though flavours to the summit of taste and the pinnacle of great cuisine, crowned by a Michelin star.

Our cuisine is known for combining the technique of traditional cooking with the flavours of local ingredients. We are known for our meat cooked in a Catalan oven using charcoal. The charm of the location also helps to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of the dishes, embracing diners in warmth and authenticity.
