The destination of the hike, the green meadows of Rit, within the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are an expression of an untouched natural environment, peace, and tranquility, where you can immerse yourself and breathe in the delicate scent of wild orchids.

After two hours of walking, you will reach the Crusc da Rit cross, where a breathtaking panorama will unfold before you, spanning from the Sas dla Crusc massif to the Pütia mountain. From this vantage point, you will be able to distinguish the three churches of La Val.

A walking trail dedicated to the Alpine Ski Champions in Val Gardena.

The route is dedicated to all those who have won a World Cup race since 1969 or a World Championship race in 1970 in Val Gardena, as well as to who believed in the idea of skiing in Val Gardena with great ambition and pioneering spirit.

This themed trail starts in the village center of Selva, behind the Ski School. It is a journey through the history of skiing in Val Gardena, from the beginnings of Alpine skiing, to its establishment as a world-famous ski area which hosts breath-taking ski world cup races every year. In the audio guide you are accompanied by Erich Demetz, honorary citizen of Selva, pioneer and conceiver of the alpine Ski World Cup races in Val Gardena and President for 28 years of the FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski).

The adventure trail, which winds its way from Hafling village to St. Kathrein, is dedicated to the charming Haflinger horse with its typical blonde mane – the animal that is native to this area and is named after the village.

Along the trail, which is divided into several stations, visitors learn exciting facts about the Haflinger horse: its special characteristics, its history and its development from a reliable workhorse to a popular leisure partner.

To ensure that children have fun discovering the trail, they are accompanied along the way by the mascot FOLY, both in the parkour and via the app.

The suspension bridge in Solda is 44 metres long and is 22 metres above the ground. It connects path no. 2, which leads to the Hintergrathütte, with path no. 1, which leads to the Schaubachhütte/Madritschhütte. The thunderous masses of water under the bridge give the crossing that certain something.

Apple Trail Tramin/Cortaccia – Experience nature, discover the apple

The Apple Trail Tramin/Cortaccia is a family-friendly themed trail that brings South Tyrol’s apple cultivation to life in an engaging way. The easy 4–5 km route runs through orchards and vineyards between Tramin and Cortaccia, offering beautiful views over the Adige Valley.
Whether in spring during blossom or in autumn at harvest time – the trail is a unique experience in every season. At 16 stations (sponsored by the Association of South Tyrolean Fruit Cooperatives – VOG), trilingual info panels provide insights into apple varieties, growing methods, storage, and the farmers’ work throughout the year.
The trail is ideal for families, school groups and nature lovers. Benches, viewpoints and short distances make it especially enjoyable. The section between Tramin and Milastiege is suitable for strollers.

Note: The trail crosses private land. Please stay on the marked path, keep dogs on a leash and respect nature and agriculture.
Tip: Guided apple walks with tastings are offered in Tramin and Kurtatsch by trained apple ambassadors.

Mountain panorama, adventure and turquoise water - this adventurous hike in the middle of the legendary mountain world of King Laurin is an absolute highlight for the whole family. The metres in altitude are comfortably conquered with the mountain railways, so that you can enjoy the panorama from above without too much effort. Huts with panoramic terraces invite you to linger, while Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza) enchants young and old with its rainbow colours.

The tour “Mountain Adventure World” starts directly at the mountain station of the cable car Ratschings-Jaufen on a good, suitable for buggies, path. This tour can easily be covered at an altitude difference of 50 meters in about 45 minutes and is therefore ideal especially for families with children. The adventurous hiking trail surprises with numerous attractions, like the ant words, the marmot world, the petting zoo, funny water games, the penguin giant, surprising climbing scaffolds, viewing bridges and rest points in the mountain pastures. At many locations there are educational signposts, that inform about the local flora and fauna and satisfy the thirst of knowledge of nature lovers.

Start in St. Anton/S. Antonio in Pflersch/Fleres. Follow the indications to the "Allrissalm". We arrive after an hour at the pasture.

For those looking to try a new and easy hiking trail, the route from St. Anton in Innerpflersch to the Allrissalm is ideal. The trail starts in the valley floor at 1215 m and follows the sign for "Allriss" southwards. First, you cross the river on a wide bridge and then continue on the road towards Stein/Sasso, until you reach a fork in the road where you turn left. The marked hiking trail 27 leads you along a wide forest road or the old footpath, which ascends through the steep forest slopes to the Allrissalm at 1534 m, where you’ll find a cozy place to rest.

The trail is perfect for families and is also suitable for strollers or bicycles. With an ascent time of about one hour and a 45-minute descent, this hike offers a simple yet beautiful nature experience. The Allriss Alm is a great opportunity to relax and enjoy traditional, delicious dishes – a perfect spot for a relaxing break during your outing.

The Marzon Alm Pasture is ideal for families.

Easy hike for the whole family along scenic mountain trails at the foot of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio. The highlight of the route is the visit to the Christomannos Monument: an impressive bronze eagle erected in honor of Theodor Christomannos, a pioneer of tourism in the Dolomites.
From the monument, a breathtaking view opens up over the Fassa Valley and the Eggental | val d'Ega Valley, stretching all the way to the majestic Latemar Group.

Adventurous hike to the Stierberg Alm mountain pasture on the Kastelbell Sonnenberg mountain

Walk from Corvara along the river Rü Tort to La Villa. Quite walk through woods and meadows. 

Legends and stories about the Sextner Tal valley and the Alta Pusteria/Hochpustertal valley have been told and passed on here for years. Now these many fairytales and stories have been used to create a Fable Trail (Fabelweg) in Sesto. Figures depicting characters from all kinds of legends have been set up along the route, giving visitors an insight into a different world.

This easy hike runs below the Rosengarten | Catinaccio massif, through forests and meadows, to a very special panoramic point at the foot of the Rotwand | Roda di Vael - the Kaiserstein. From here, a picturesque view unfolds: your gaze sweeps from the nearby Rotwand | Roda di Vael across the rugged Latemar into the Eggental valley and the mountain world rising beyond. A small wooden bench invites you to soak in this idyllic scene, which also enchanted Empress Sissi during her stay in Carezza in 1897. In her honor, the rock was named Kaiserstein.

The "Kröllturmrunde" ... all around this is not difficult! Observation platform and rest areas make the newly designed path on Kröllturm varied and attractive.

Above Gargazon, the Kröll tower, which dates back to the Middle Ages, rises out of the forest. But the tower is not at the beginning of the way. From the village square in Gargazon, a guidance system guides hikers to the Kröllturmrunde, access and view to the waterfall included. (Access to the waterfall is currently closed until further notice).

You should not have it in a hurry. Rather, the Kröllturmrunde is a pleasure hike for the whole family. Along the way there are rest areas, some with loungers, others with seating. They are called "Halfway", "Untermturm" and "Obernturm", also at the old quarry there are rest opportunities with beach chairs.

And after the hike? Nothing like in the water: best in the natural pool in Gargazzone, the only public natural bath in the west of South Tyrol, sustainably built, of course created and easily accessible, even by bike, bus and train.

The cable car Ratschings-Jaufen takes you from Bichl/Colle to the mountain station. From there you hike along the Ratschinger Almenweg to the mountain pasture Rinneralm. Alternative: visit the Mountain Adventure World Racines

Discover the tranquility of nature with a walk along the edge of the forest in Ortisei. This route offers a pleasant experience immersed in natural beauty and is ideal for a relaxing stroll. The path is also suitable for strollers, allowing everyone to enjoy the serenity and freshness of the surrounding environment.

Path No. 657 starts from Plan de Gralba and takes you directly to the Sella Pass without having to deal with a great deal of difference in altitude.

This hike will take you from San Cassiano to the Malga Valparola alp - closed during summer 2025, a historic site, where the mineral extracted in Livinallongo was transported, melted and transformed into iron. The ruins of the melting furnaces are now abandoned and in pieces. Today, only the German hut’s name “Eisenöfenalm“ (Hut of the Iron Furnaces), serves as a reminder of the economic prosperity, now long gone but once enjoyed by this extraordinarily picturesque place.

The città dei sassi is located on Passo Sella under the famous Sassolungo, it is a "city" with a lot of stones of different sizes which you can climb or walk around. Along the path you have an amazing view of the city and its surroundings.

The Val Gardena railway trail runs along the entire length of the valley and takes you past woods, meadows, hamlets and local sights on the sunny side of the valley. Choose between Ortisei (St. Ulrich), S. Cristina and Selva (Wolkenstein) as your starting point. The walk follows the course of the former Val Gardena railway, which was built during the First World War – in the years 1915-1916.

On a section of the path you will find a number of bronze sculptures by local artists. These give walkers and hikers an insight into the fascinating history of art in the Gardena Valley.

Along the railway line trail from La Poza towards S. Cristina there is a snow gauge, which measures the amount of snowfall for the period from 1951 to the present day.

The cable car Ratschings-Jaufen takes you from Bichl to the mountain station. From there you can hike along the Ratschinger Almenweg to the mountain pasture Wasserfalleralm.

From the head of the Ridnauntal valley, follow the hiking trail no. 9 through the forest to the entrance to the Burkhardklamm gorge and continue either along the gorge or left along the forest path to the water barrier at Aglsboden. At the eastern edge of the bottom, trail no. 9A branches off to the right from the main trail, which leads to the refugees and leads steeply up to the Aglsalm. The return follows the same route as the ascent.

The three-mountain hut hike to Marzoner Alm, Zirmtal Alm and Tomberger/Alt Alm at the Nörderberg mountain is a very special mountain hut experience.

This varied circular hike in the village of Karersee | Carezza runs beneath the majestic Rosengarten | Catinaccio and offers a mix of forest roads, gentle woodland trails, and alpine meadows. A special highlight of the tour is the "Kaiserstein" - a unique viewpoint offering stunning views of the striking peak Rotwand | Roda di Vael. Equally rewarding are the Frin meadows, beautifully nestled in an impressive 360° mountain panorama.

From the valley head in Ridnaun/Ridanna hike along the path no. 9 through a forest towards the entrance of the Burkhardklamm gorge and continue either along the gorge or on the forest path at your left side to the water barrier of the Aglsboden. From there you can reach the mountain pasture Aglsbodenalm after a walk of 10 minutes on path no. 9.
Alternative: reachable also starting from Maiern/Masseria and following the forest path (1,5h)

The valley end of Solda/Sulden forms a particularly fascinating natural scenery due to its exposure and wilderness at 2000 m above sea level. Forest, pastures, scree, glaciers, rocks and torrents shape the appearance. This wild and romantic beauty provided the inspiration for the responsible persons to create offers, which gives the locals and guests the opportunity to experience the valley of Solda in an intensively natural way. Therefore, the idea was born to build a water and nature facility, a suspension bridge and an adventure path in the middle of the Stelvio National Park, under the name "NATURAronda", which means to make a tour in nature and enables a mental and physical well-being. The Naturaronda consists of the bear bath, EVOPÄD and the suspension bridge.

Attention: the bear bath is closed at the moment!

The Val Gardena rail tracks course through the whole valley on a sunny stroll across forests, meadows, villages and local sights. Choose from Roncadizza, Ortisei, S. Cristina or Selva as a starting point. The walk follows the old rail tracks of the Val Gardena locomotive built during WWI (1915-1916) by Russian prisoners. Along the old railway line from La Poza to Santa Cristina you can find the diagram of the snow that fell since 1951.

The village tour in Selva starts directly at the Selva Tourist Office.

From there, follow the signs towards Vallunga/Langental on path no. 14 to the Silvester chapel. To the left of the chapel you now go over the Way of the Cross in the direction of Daunëi. At the beginning of the path you can see the ruins of Selva Castle on the top right. From Daunëi it is now a bit downhill until we reach the old railway path, which we take in the direction of S. Cristina.

As soon as we have reached the district of La Poza, we cross the street towards the district of La Sëlva. We can already see the Castel/GardenaFischburg from afar, where our path leads along. Then it goes back to the starting point via the walkingpath of La Sëlva.

A world of medicinal and edible herbs grow on our doorstep.

Along the Flora TraFul wild herb trail you’ll find information about our unique alpine plants and their multiple uses. The purpose of the Flora TraFul nature trail is to vividly illustrate how herbs are used in traditional folk medicine. Along the two-km-long hike, the rudiments of identification are explained, as well as the essentials of plant foraging, insights into herb processing, and the effects produced by some of the herbs.

Starting point of the hike is the naturatrafoi Visitor Centre of Stelvio National Park, or at the bus stop.
