On the Upper Passer Promenade (near the Post Bridge), you will find Goldie's House, the mascot of Merano Christmas, which welcomes its little guests aged 4 and up during the weekends and Christmas holidays.
Traditionally, the ski instructors of the Badia Ski School organise the torchlight descent that takes place at nightfall on the La Crusc slope.
Together with the guests, the ski instructors form a spectacular line of lights with their torches to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
On the arrival, you can enjoy a hot cup of tea or mulled wine accompanied by DJ music.

The International New Year’s Eve Run BOclassic starts and ends directly at the Bolzano Christmas Market on the Walther Square.
The event is an institution - since 1974 the year has been brought to a sporty end in Bolzano. Runners from all over the world meet in the provincial capital on December 31 to compete in the Raiffeisen BOclassic South Tyrol, which starts and ends at the central Walther Square.
It is the last day of the year, when in the afternoon the athletes first run through the Bolzano Christmas Market, cross the old town with Piazza delle Erbe and Via dei Portici, reach the Piazza della Stazione and then - after exactly 1,250 metres - can be seen again at Piazza Walther. This is repeated eight times for the male top athletes of the BOclassic Elite, and four times for the female participants. The other four categories do fewer laps: the Just for Fun event for everyone, the 5 km long Ladurner Run, the Raiffeisen Youth Cup and the Handbike Show Run.
Years ago, a starting fee had to be paid, today, the elite runners arrive exclusively on invitation. The BOclassic is the annual start of the South Tyrol Top 7 running series, which also includes the Caldaro Lake Run and the Lake Resia Run.
The Town Hall Square in Corvara transforms into the vibrant heart of the New Year's Eve celebrations! This year DJ Richard Markz will set the perfect tone for the festivities with an electrifying performance.
To add to the magic, some of the Christmas market stalls in the square will remain open, offering delightful treats and warm drinks—because nothing pairs better with the festive atmosphere than a steaming cup of mulled wine.

An unforgettable evening awaits visitors at the New Year’s Eve Ski Show of the Guggenberg Ski School at the Guggenberg ski lift in Tesido! At 5:30 pm an exciting spectacle begins: the torchlight descent, open to all participants aged 14 and over, brings festive cheer and glowing torches to the slope. Afterwards, the Guggenberg Ski School presents an impressive ski show that will amaze both beginners and advanced skiers. Hot drinks are available for all guests. After-show party to celebrate the New Year in style. A great time with music, dancing, and a festive atmosphere is guaranteed! A spectacular year-end full of action and joy awaits everyone!

On December 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the ski instructors of the Carezza Ski School will start at the Paolina Lift in Karersee | Carezza for an impressive torchlight descent, lighting up the evening with festive glow. After the descent, enjoy tea and mulled wine.

At the stroke of midnight, the façade of the Kurhaus and the sky above it will be lit up with the Music Light Show, a moment of artistic special effects and lights.
Starting at 04:00 pm., the main square becomes a festive gathering for New Year's Eve, featuring hot drinks and delicious treats. At 06:00 pm., the traditional torchlight procession begins on Via Stazione (Hotel Dolomiten), making its way to the main square – a glowing highlight as all participants walk toward the square with torches in hand. At the main square, the old year will be ceremoniously burned while visitors are treated to free mulled wine, hot drinks, and tasty snacks. In this cozy atmosphere, we can collectively welcome the end of the year before the grand celebrations begin!
To say farewell to 2025 in a truly special way, music enthusiasts are invited to immerse themselves in a unique soundscape: the traditional classical piano concert held in the enchanting setting of the Capuchin Church in Lana. From 5:30 to 6:30 PM, pianist Enzo Weber will lead the audience on an emotional musical journey, surrounded by the warmth and glow of hundreds of flickering candles. A serene and magical atmosphere that promises to make the evening truly unforgettable.
The gastronomie Stands are Open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
In the Capuchin church, bathed in the cosy glow of countless lit candles, pianist Enzo Weber will give a unique piano concert from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
At midnight, fireworks will light up the sky above Lana.
Brixen sets new standards for a conscious and emotional start to the new year. Instead of fireworks, guests can expect music, visual highlights and a professionally staged show programme. The cathedral square becomes the stage for a celebration that connects generations: with a family-friendly warm-up, a special midnight moment and a rousing live show. The night opens with a live concert by the Tribue Band, guiding the audience on a musical journey through the greatest hits from the 1960s to today. An energetic and engaging start designed to warm up the square and set the tone for a night full of excitement.
Around 10:30 PM, the celebration continues with a captivating street-performance show: acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers, and various performers will entertain the crowd with a dynamic and playful spectacle suitable for all ages.
As midnight approaches, DJ Nicola Imperiale will take over the stage from 11:15 PM, building energy and rhythm as the New Year draws near. The voice of Aryfashion will add charisma and animation, interacting with the audience and boosting the festive atmosphere.
Just minutes before midnight, the square will be enveloped in striking visual effects projected onto the large LED wall. The collective countdown will lead into a shared midnight toast, welcoming the arrival of 2026 together.
From midnight until 2:00 AM, the party continues with an energetic back-to-back DJ set by Luca Venus and Nicola Imperiale, keeping the dance floor alive with nonstop music—an ideal way to begin the new year.
Throughout the night, lighting effects, scenic visuals, and immersive atmospheres will enhance the experience, while beverage and snack stations will be available to ensure comfort and enjoyment for all attendees.
