The traditional Brenner market takes place every 5th and 20th of the month throughout the year. If this day falls on a Sunday or public holiday, then the market takes place on Saturday before. Short guided tour in German/Italian. Meeting point: at the church in Mittelberg. Duration: 20 minutes, Cost: € 2. The St. Nikolaus church in Mittelberg is first mentioned in 1289. This church was enlarged in the gothic style in 1400 and has kept its appearance from that time. The tower is somewhat later than the church and was probably built in the 14th Century. It is made of natural stones laid in regular patterns. Possibly in 1400 the upper levels were altered to the gothic style and the existing windows date from that period. In 1744 a rather large onion dome was added. It does not fit the building but is still quite pleasing. In 1976, during the restoration of the church and the tower, the Romanesque masonry was discovered. In this phase of restoration also came to light a large cycle of medieval frescoes that reproduce scenes of the passion of the Lord, the twelve apostles and prophets

The women's giant slalom on the Erta has now established itself as a renowned race and can no longer be missed in the ski scene. The Erta slope is quite impressive - with a length of 1,325 m, a difference in altitude of 405 m and a maximum gradient of 61%, it demands the fullest skill and a large portion of courage from the participants.

The Jukibuz in the South Tyrolean Cultural Institute presents new children's and young adult books for the young children and young people. Winter-adventure: Culinary torch hike for connoisseurs We will walk together from the village square in Seis along the scenic hiking path to the picturesque Furschermühle mill. From our expert guide Oswald Tröbinger you will not only learn why the church and the tower were built separately, but also have the opportunity to climb the observation tower: 82 meters high, with more than 300 steps.
