Three new room categories refer to the history of the family-run Hotel Gasthof zum Hirschen on the Nonsberg plateau: Spirituality is newly interpreted with simplicity, clear lines, and reduced optics in the HOSPIZ rooms. The HIRSCHEN rooms deal with elements of inn culture, while the LUC designer rooms emphasise space, light and minimalistic design furniture.
Open all year, the Hotel-Restaurant CERVO combines the fine cooking of the Nonsberg tradition with South Tyrolean natural cuisine, and the aromas and essences from the forest to a harmonious culinary experience. In the Cervo Bistro and in the outdoor dining area, our summer lunchtime guests enjoy traditional yet light mediterranean dishes.
Relaxing moments and genuine enjoyment can be found in our mountain retreat’s Wine-Lounge, bio-sauna and Finnish sauna with panorama view, and on our generous sun deck, as well as in the information and reading corners stocked with books with regional connections for an interesting read. Free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel during the day; at night, signal-free tranquility reigns.
All around this idyllically situated place of pilgrimage are the mountains, hiking trails and lakes inviting you to an active holiday in nature year round; mountain climbing, bicycling, mountain biking and motorcycling are popular in the summer months, while winter presents unique opportunities for solitary snowshoe hikes, ski tours, tobogganing or skiing. The nearby cities of Merano, Bolzano and Trento/Trient provide urban flair, and all can be reached in less than an hour’s drive (Merano in 30 minutes).
