    Preserving. The old. Creating. The new.

    Sonja and Andreas have been revitalising the old farm with its cultural history for several years. They now offer organic farm produce in a lovingly designed farm shop. These include seasonal fruit from the old orchard trees, stored vegetables, potatoes and refined products such as jams, syrups and dried fruit.

    The farm shop is open twice a week from Easter to All Saints' Day. In the winter months by telephone arrangement.

    The heritage-listed farm from the 12th century is located in Pracupola/Kuppelwies, at the beginning of the Höfeweg, in the middle of a farm group behind the Schwemmalm cable car. He is one of the oldest farms of the Ultental.

    The spices and herbs from the organic herb garden are harvested with the utmost care, dried and later processed into herbal teas and many other herbal products.

    The Linterhof is located in the village center of St. Pankraz. On the farm graze 40 happy Krainer sheep.
    From the milk, various types of cheese, yogurt and curd are produced in the farm's own cheese dairy.
    The farm is managed according to organic guidelines (Bioland).

    Edible flowers are a feast for the senses: At Oberhof, we offer the Flowers & Mountains Experience, which includes an presentation and tasting of edible flowers, a tour of our permaculture farm that grows over 350 heirloom vegetables, herbs and flowers, and an outdoor lunch in front of the majestic Geisler mountains, featuring edible flowers prepared by the chefs from Alma 9 restaurant (Bolzano). The lunch menu will include ingredients from Oberhof and other farms participating in the Villnöss Slow Food Travel project.

    Kirnig - which in the dialect of the two Regglbergers means steadfast and down-to-earth - is what they had to be to get such a project off the ground.     Intensely flavoured aromatic cheeses from the Laces-Martello holiday area The high mountain environment of the Venosta Valley has always been associated with mountain pastures and dairies. Since medieval times, butter and cheese have been produced in the mountain pastures. Even today, dairy products such as natural butter, yoghurt, cottage cheese and cream are still made there, particulary alpine cheese and local specialities such as "Graukas".

    The farm Obertimpflerhof is situated in Vöran, a village above Merano which lies 1,280 meters above sea level.

    Franz keeps his pigs on the pasture and in the stable on and around his farm, where they have access to clear mountain air and a lot of space to run free. That and GMO-free feeding is the secret for farmer Innerhofer’s high quality pork meat. In traditional and artisan production it is processed to well-known South Tyrolean speck and other local pork specialties.

    Products: speck, Kaminwurz (dried smoked sausages), smoked ham, salami - the opening days of the farm shop are listed below.

    The Oberschlossbauerhof Juval is located just above Juval Castle and is run by the Blaas/Viertler family. It has been owned by the Blaas family for around 200 years.

    Wine has been grown on the quietly situated mountain farm with a unique view of the Venosta Valley mountains and Juval Castle since 1985. Riesling and Müller-Thurgau are produced at Oberschlossbauer Juval. Your hosts will give you a warm welcome in the newly built, cosy farm shop.

    You can taste and enjoy the two white wines in an authentic atmosphere, directly from the centuries-old walls of the original house. The hosts will be happy to introduce you to the exciting history of the farm and the Juval hill.

    At the Sandwiesen farm in the sunny Adige Valley, Peter Thuile, an experienced oenologist, processes several apple varieties into a light, tingling apple juice. The fruity and elegant fruit wine is fermented on the bottle, is low alcoholized and contains no residual sugar. As a fresh aperitif and ideal companion for Mediterranean appetizers and regional dishes, it represents an interesting alternative. The Apfelcuvèe is available annually only in limited quantities and is sold only from the farm.

    Located at 1,300 m in S. Martin, Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley, Lahnhof is a farm with a deep respect for animals, nature, and real food.
    For generations, the Hintner family has practiced ethical free-range farming, producing fresh eggs and natural honey with care and commitment. The hens enjoy green meadows and fresh mountain air, while the bees thrive among flowering alpine pastures.
    At the farm shop, you can buy these high-quality products directly – a true taste of South Tyrol’s nature for your home.

    Torgglerhof - Distillery

    Thick walls, old window grilles and a steep staircase.

    The Torgglerhof is a fruit and wine farm, a place of recreation, a vacation home. And Schenna's first farm distillery. In 2016, the distillery starts operating in the former dungeon.

    Where centuries ago prisoners waited for their interrogation, today noble drops are distilled in the wood-fired copper kettle, from what grows on local land. Care and attention to detail ensure that the full flavour of the fruit reaches the bottle intact.

    Noble and witty. Traditional and quality conscious.

    Sip for sip a pleasure, which of course may also be tasted and purchased. A special experience in a very special place.

    Mathias Lamprecht operates a farmer's distillery at the Lahnerhof where he produces delicious fine distillates.

    The farm buildings, which have protected monument status, date from the 12th century and have been owned by the Lamprecht family for over 100 years. Through careful restoration and renovation work, the former laundry room has been converted into today's distillery, in which Mathias Lamprecht produces single-variety spirits from the various fruits growing on the farm.

    The historic walls radiate a sense of tradition and history, but above all when tasting the farm's own produce the maker's enthusiasm and warmth can be felt. By arrangement it is possible to undertake a guided tour of the distillery, and taste and buy the fine spirits. In addition there is also a large cellar that is available to use for celebrations.

    At an altitude of 1,353 m on the sunny plateau of Avelengo in South Tyrol lies the Hieslerhof. Here, the Eschgfäller family passionately dedicates itself to beekeeping.     All types of bread from Mittereggenhof are carefully handmade from local rye and spelt. The grain for this is ground in our own mill. The stone oven gives the bread and pastries a special taste. No preservatives or other additives are used.

    The products are offered at the farmers' markets in the Ulten Valley during the summer months.

    Bergauf in Pracupola/Kuppelwies is a small social cooperative in Val d'Ultimo/Ultental Valley, which has set itself the task of buying sheep wool from the farmers of the valley and to process it locally. This results in a valuable, domestic raw material being refined in the valley and creating jobs. Last, but not least, woolly feel-good products are lovingly handmade, which many can enjoy: wool slippers, placemats, seat covers, blankets and gloves.

Distilling and weaving, two old crafts that have been rediscovered and are practised with love and passion, are what make the Weberhof so special and unique.

    The farm of a passionate sheep farmer and cheese producer from Stein is located in the rear Pflerschtal valley, at the foot of the imposing mountain Tribulaun. High-quality products made from sheep's milk are produced here with great care and traditional craftsmanship - including the finest fresh and hard cheeses and creamy sheep's yoghurt made from fresh sheep's milk.
    These natural delicacies are available every Friday from mid-April to the end of October at the farmers' market in Sterzing - directly from the producer, with an authentic mountain flavour.

    The Mesnerhof is a farm in Nafen that is passionately looked after by farmer Rosmarie Prader. Due to the sunny location and the ideal altitude, various local fruits and vegetables as well as vines can be grown on the farm. In addition, cows are kept on the farm for dairy farming. The farm's own products can be consumed by visitors directly on site or purchased from the farm. Sustainability and the traditional way of life play a major role at the Mesnerhof and these values are thus also passed on to the guests. Combine a visit to the Mesnerhof with a walk along the adjacent meadows.

    The Kasserolhof farm, run by Marlene and Lorenz Psenner, is situated at 850 metres above sea level on the edge of Villnöss valley. As an ARCHE farm, they have dedicated themselves to rare livestock breeds with the aim of breeding them and thus saving them from extinction. The Kasserolhof stands for diversity on the farm, which is why, in addition to special cattle and donkeys, you will also find a small apiary, a colourful flock of chickens and a large number of grazing geese, which provide the best meat in autumn. Fruit spreads, syrups, apple juice, eggs, nuts and cut flowers are also on offer, subject to availability. During a guided tour of the farm, interested visitors can learn all about the diversity at Kasserolhof, followed by a tasting session.
