Our hut is located directly on the Ahrntal valley sun path. From our panorama-sun-terrace you can enjoy the stunning view over the whole Ahrntal valley.

In the cold season a winter hiking trail leads to our hut. .

We are also reachable by car (from Hotel Post in Luttach/Lutago).

For foodies: Schönberg Restaurant & Pizzeria in the Ahrntal/Valle Aurina handmade with love. We are happy to spoil you with crispy baked pizza from the wood-fired oven or fine delicacies from our alpine-Mediterranean cuisine. Fresh. Crispy and legendary. That’s our pizza out of the woodstove. Everybody knows our pizzas and everybody loves them. Max the host himself bakes the delicious pizzas with a lot of passion. Mmmh … soo jummie!

In Winter we are the perfect place for relax and fun during a nice skiing-day! You find us directly opposite the mountain station of the cable car Klausberg.

Welcome to the Ignazstube, the charming restaurant inside the South Tyrolean Mining Museum & Climate Tunnel in Prettau – right in the heart of the Ahrntal Valley and next to the small station of the historic mine railway. Here, warm hospitality meets fascinating history. After an exciting journey into the depths of the mine or a relaxing stay in the climate tunnel, the Ignazstube invites you to take a pleasant break. We always offer finest cakes, tortes and specialities from the region in our cabinet. Different kinds of coffees, teas and cool beverages satisfy your thirst. Our ice-cream specialities help you to cool down, especially in the hot season.

Our hut is easily reachable starting from the elementary school in Weißenbach/Rio Bianco (walking time approx. 30 min., suitable for baby strollers), starting from the hut Schnaidaleachn on the exercise path (walking time approx. 45 min.) or starting from the church on the herbs path (walking time approx. 40 min.).

Discover without car – good connection with the public transport; connecting path to the hut Schwarzbachalm (walking time approx. 1,1/2 h).

Easy walk on the sunny side of the Ahrntal valley, open all year, ideal destination for families and seniors – with children’s playground and sun-terrace.

In the cold season a beautiful winter hiking trail leads to our hut.

The mountain inn Ederhof above Luttach/Lutago distinguishes itself not only by the stunning view from its sun-terrace, but also by the outstanding cordiality of the hosts as well as by the lovely decoration.

Delicacies from the farm: typical Tyrolean snacks, home-made cakes and juices are waiting for you.
