Restaurant valley farm "Mutkopf" – your last stop on the way to the Mutpeak.
The Mutkopf restaurant valley farm is an idyllic hiking destination with astonishing views over the Adige Valley (Merano side), the Venosta Valley up to the Ortler range and onto the peaks of the south-tyrolean Dolomites to the south.
The Restaurant valley farm Mutkopf and the guesthouse Talbauer (Locanda) are run by members of the same family. A winding trail climbs up the mountain from the Talbauer, through the shaded forests up to a natural panoramic plateau. Here - at a height of 1684m - lies the guesthouse Mutkopf. This establishment is the last stop for hikers on the way to the Mutpeak and an ideal resting opportunity halfway to the lakes of Sopranes into the fascinating mountain landscape of the Texel Nature Park.
The starting point for all our fascination and creativity is the landscape that surrounds us. We are in constant dialogue with the seasons, the soil, and most of all the local farmers, that give us unique quality and inspiration. That is how our monthly menu is updated and developed: regional and seasonal products meet culinary joy and passion. This is our personality. This is flurin.

TRUST MAKES QUALITY
The love for the product is our goal as a family business since 1926.
Traditional methods of production and recipes, the trust in selected ingredients from regional suppliers as well as a healthy quantum of innovation are our daily motivation.
The „Vogelmeierhof“, as the Patauner restaurant is called in the vernacular, was built at the centre of Settequerce in 1664 and is today part of a group of preserved and protected buildings. The Patauner family have preserved the character of the house for about 100 years. Fresh, local products such as asparagus from Terlano in spring and local game in autumn set the tone in the good plain Tyrolean cuisine that is creatively refined. You will also find innards and old vegetable varieties such as swede on the menu.
The restaurant is member of the group "Südtiroler Gasthaus".
Whether you enjoy a variety of cereals and breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit, cold cuts and cheeses from the surrounding area at our rich breakfast buffet or end the evening comfortably with a 4-course menu with South Tyrolean and Italian specialties and a hearty salad buffet - regional products and seasonal ingredients guarantee the highest quality across our multifaceted culinary offer.
CEO is a winery in South Tyrol’s Unterland – situated in the extreme south of South Tyrol. The loamy soils – conveyed here over the centuries by periodic flooding of the Etsch / Adige River until it was regulated – form the foundation for the cultivation of grapes yielding very refined, elegant white wines, but also full-bodied, heady red wines.
By rigorously regulating the yield, we support natural processes in harmony with nature so as to grow grapes suitable for the production of great wines. We cultivate five different varieties of grape in our own vineyards located in the Unterland of South Tyrol.
