We try to develop a close collaboration between the region’s agriculture and the tourism sector. RUSTIC - The old farmhouse parlour is more than 150 years old and comes from Val Pusteria. This special wood spreads a very pleasant and cosy atmosphere. COSY - Using a professional mixture of tradtional and modern style and the combination of the old wood from local forests with natural stone and glass create this special alpine flair AUTHENTIC - Food should be consumed there where it is grown and harvested – according to this principle we are buying food, ingredients and drinks from local farmers of the area.

    The Tuffalm is located near the Völser Weiher at the foot of the Schlern mountain. Due to its idyllic location, culinary treats of the South Tyrolean cuisine and its surpassing hospitality, the rustic lodge is a popular destination for those who enjoy active and relaxed holidays. This is the ideal place to forget about time and worries. Immerse yourself in the marvellous nature and enjoy the view over the wide and lush alpine meadow. Therefore, in 2007, the readers of the most popular local newspaper voted our Tuffalm the most beautiful mountain hut in South Tyrol. The hut is open every day from Easter until the end of January from 08:00 to 18:00 o’clock. In addition to that, every Thursday you can listen to live music from 26th May to October. Of course, you can also stop by in the cosy hut to take a short break before you head out to more fantastic hiking tours in the National Park Schlern. The Sella Pass forms together with the Pordoi Pass, the Gardena Pass and the Campolongo Pass the four-pass-trip, known from the skiers and the treckers as the "Sellaronda".

    Schliniger Alm Alpine pasture - Alp Planbell

    The Schliniger Alm is located at 1,868 m above sea level in the Sesvenna mountain group. From the village of Schlinig, you can reach the alp either on foot (even with a stroller), or by bike. In winter, the path is rolled daily, so you do not need winter equipment such as snowshoes or touring skis. It is recommended to take a toboggan for the way back. Offered is a wonderful panoramic view of the valley to the east and the mighty Schwarze Wand with the waterfall to the west. Let yourself be spoiled by the Almgasthaus cuisine and the products of the cheese dairy. The Schliniger Alm is not only a popular destination for families and athletes, but also offers one of the best alpine cheeses of the Upper Vinschgau in the alpine dairy. Opening times: End of May until beginning of November and mid-December to mid-April On reservation the Schliniger Alm is also open in the evening!

    If you come to the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm holiday area to swim, you will find idyllically situated lakes at the foot of the Sciliar and a swimming pool with a panoramic view: •Swimming lake in a Nature Reserve •“Vela blu” (“Blue Sail”) Award from the environmental association “Legambiente” •Natural high-altitude cooling •Swimming in a unique landscape The Laghetto di Fiè /Völser Weiher Lake is classed as one of the cleanest swimming lakes in Italy: In 2015, Legambiente, the largest environmental association in Italy, awarded Italy’s best ecosystems with a “Vela Blu”. Among the top 3 exemplary lakes we find the Laghetto di Fiè. Due to its intact ecosystem and outstanding water quality, the lake at the foot of the Sciliar is an extremely popular destination with swimmers.
