And we serve local specialities, such as filled pasta mezzelune (Schlutzkrapfen), tagliatelle made from spiced rye flatbread (Schüttelbrotbandnudeln), dumpling trio (Knödel-Tris) and steak from Laugen cattle from the Ulthental. Your hosts do the cooking themselves, reinterpreting old recipes and adapting them to the taste of the times: elaborately prepared sauces and pickles encounter fresh, easily digestible fare to produce exquisite taste sensations. Whether served on the terrace, under the arcades or in the stylish farmhouse alcoves, eating at the Hanswirt in Rabland is a feast for all the senses.

He does not mix ingredients already prepared, but first of all he creates them: a long list of homemade products that are created by the processing of fresh fruit and spices. Then, as an alchemist, he combines these ingredients into unique and complex cocktails that bear his signature. And if you can’t choose, just let him know your tastes, he will create a cocktail uniquely yours.
