The meat and the milk from our cows, calves and sheep that spend the whole summer on the mountain pasture, is healthy and very tasty. Fresh salads and all kind of vegetables and fruit come directly from our garden. The remaining milk is processed within our farm to tasty cheese specialities.

The variety goes from fresh sparkling water, juices, Italian coffee, homemade pastries, South Tirol bier and wine, hand crafted ice creams, snacks and small cold and warm dishes. The area of the radbar is mainly level and freely accessible. Seating places are widely available in different setups to express the nature ambience and child friendliness.     The kitchen team at the Ansitz Jakoberhof combine traditional farmer’s dishes of Val Gardena with Italian delicacy. It also prepares appropriate plates for guests with special diets or food allergies. While it’s only possible to choose delicious dishes from our restaurant menu at lunch time (between 12 – 14.00 pm) you may also take part at the daily 4 course dinner menu with salad and cheese buffet we serve our hotel guests in the evenings. A vast choice of wines on our wine list will round off the chosen dishes and give you the best experience.

    The sports centre bar with its large sun terrace is open for you all year and is located next to the Passer/Bicycle Dam and the main road. From Easter to All Saints' Day, 4 sand tennis courts are at your disposal. From mid-November to Easter, there are two covered sand courts and an additional ice-skating rink. The pools are open from mid-May to the beginning of September. There is also a small lunch menu available during this period.

    Located in Corso Libertà right in front of the main entrance of the Kurhaus, the restaurant ale-house Forsterbräu is a recognised landmark both for residents and tourists, thanks to its traditional cuisine, which can be enjoyed from lunchtime until late in the evening and above all for its eight different sorts of draught beer. There is one main dining room, several charming typical Stube and - during the warm season - the refreshing indoor garden with its chestnut trees. Up to 500 people can eat and drink at the same time and during the month of December you may taste the special Christmas beer. The unmissable Beer Feast has become a tradition and takes place every year during the third weekend of September, with good live music, outstanding meals and pints and pints of fresh Forst beer!
