In Obermais, about 3 km away from the centre of Meran, the Prinz Rudolf hotel, as well as being a new location placed outside of the usual standards, recommends two culinary offers which complement and complete one another. In the terraced rooms with their view over the city you may chose between the lively and youthful "Restaurant & Pizzeria" and the exclusive "Prinz 1871", the first specialised in the new interpretation of South Tyrolean courses along with pizzas made with excellent ingredients, the latter imagined to satisfy the most demanding palates with seasonal tasting menus, à la carte courses and refined wines.

Our cafe is located in the village center of Reischach (near the church). We spoil our guests with various cakes and small snacks. In summer we serve our sundaes on the beautiful sun terrace.

Located in Corso Libertà right in front of the main entrance of the Kurhaus, the restaurant ale-house Forsterbräu is a recognised landmark both for residents and tourists, thanks to its traditional cuisine, which can be enjoyed from lunchtime until late in the evening and above all for its eight different sorts of draught beer. There is one main dining room, several charming typical Stube and - during the warm season - the refreshing indoor garden with its chestnut trees. Up to 500 people can eat and drink at the same time and during the month of December you may taste the special Christmas beer. The unmissable Beer Feast has become a tradition and takes place every year during the third weekend of September, with good live music, outstanding meals and pints and pints of fresh Forst beer!

The castle tavern is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, except on wednesdays. It is focused on dumplings and this is why you have the possibility to try different types of dumplings. In addition, typical South Tyrolian specialities, homemade cakes and a great selection of wines are waiting for you.

The Berggasthof Badl is situated at an altitude of 1700 meters a.s.l. in a beautiful place surrounded by the pristine nature of the park Rieserferner. It is known since the last century as a health resort, thanks to its curative mineral water. It is still an oasis of relaxation and regeneration to rebalance both, the body and the mind. All the rooms are equipped with natural wood and are plain yet very comfortable. The Hofer family welcomes you for lunch - cake and coffee is served in the afternoons – and from 4:00 p.m. for aprés-ski and pizza in the evening. New: cozy lounge with 50 seats!

We serve delicious and varied dishes. We are also happy to cater, with prior reservation, for birthdays or other group celebrations.

With its light, contemporary and cosy atmosphere, the Camping Passeier Bistro, Restaurant & Pizzeria below the Hirzer cableway lies right on the Maiser Waalweg irrigation canal trail and cycle track. At lunchtime you can choose from our Italian and South Tyrolean menus, courtesy of our chef, Giampiero. In the evening, we also serve delicious, freshly-made Italian pizzas.
