The Fascinating Vineyard: an exploration of Cortaccia Winery’s diverse vineyard sites, complete with wine tasting. The diversity of Cortaccia Winery’s vineyard sites is unique in South Tyrol. Altitudes ranging from 200 to 900 metres, southeast and southwest exposures, and soils varying from sandy-gravely to rocky to red-clay lend each wine its own individual character. Discover the story of the South Tyrolean apple in Meran/Merano! This apple tour of Merano's fruit cooperative CAFA will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. After a short introductory film you can explore the entire cooperative in the company of our apple experts and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. To round off the tour there is a brief apple tasting session. Traditional baking of bread in an old stone oven and tasting of the freshly baked bread at "Almdorf Haidenberg", Stefansdorf from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Registration not necessary! You can get to Haidenberg following the path no. 4 (approx. 1 hour) from Stefansdorf or by car.

Your guide leads you through several stations where she tells about winegrowing, landscape and history. The farmers’ festival at Teis, which will take place on 20th October 2024, is one of South Tyrol’s most traditional festivals and a true journey of discovery through the crafts and customs of the Villnöss valley. On the festival, you’ll learn how to do old farm crafts such as baking bread, weaving baskets and hats, felting, carving and pottery. A wine tasting of a special kind in the midst of the vineyards of Ritten and Bolzano. The winegrowers of Ritten and Rentsch invite you to enjoy their wine along the REBE wine trail. At five selected stations, the winegrowers offer for tasting those wines that grow in the respective altitudes along the wine steps between Rentsch and Signat. From the rich Lagrein to the aromatic Gewürztraminer to the spicy Kerner: a whole 13 grape varieties ripen on the 3.5 km long REBE wine hiking trail! The long-awaited and popular ApfelFest returns to Bolzano, with exhibition and sales stands, tastings, information exchange, an apple-based gastronomic offer, as well as a rich side programme with music and a play corner with children's activities. Walther Square will be the centre of the big event. The detailed programme will be available in the coming months. The event is organised by the Tourist Authority, in cooperation with the South Tyrolean Apple Consortium and under the patronage of the Municipality of Bolzano.

Wine-tasting with Alto Adige wines at 2000 m. The Wine Skisafari offers a cheerful expedition on skis across the country’s multitude of wines. Tickets are available online and also on the day of the event at participating huts: - Ütia Bioch - Pralongiá hut - Piz Arlara - I Tablá Alta Badia, the Dolomite region for epicurean holidays, supports, among other things, the responsible use of alcohol under the motto: taste, enjoy, but don't overdo it. Too much alcohol on the slopes slows down reflexes and can cause accidents even on the ski slopes. Please remember, when skiing, the consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderate quantities, fines will be imposed if the alcohol level exceeds 0.5 per mille.
