Holidays in Colle Isarco – Pflerschtal – Brennero
Brennero/Brenner is the northernmost gateway to South Tyrol. The most significant and lowest of all Alpine crossings at just 1,374 m, the pass is the doorway to Northern Italy and to the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal valley. The family-friendly village of Gossensass is located just a few km after the border, tucked away amongst the mountains. It is here that the poet Henrik Ibsen had his summer retreat in the former climatic health resort, enjoying the fresh air, simplicity and proximity to the mountains, much as holidaymakers still do today. Looking for a true El Dorado for both peace and adventure seekers? The incredibly beautiful and untouched Pflerschtal valley stretches from Colle Isarco to the Stubai Alps.
