The Trametsch summit to valley ski run in the Plose resort above Bressanone/Brixen measures an impressive 9 km with a difference in elevation of 1400 m. The gondola lift takes skiers from the lower terminal close to the village of Santa Andrea/St. Andrä up onto the Plose, Bressanone/Brixen's home mountain in the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal valley. From there a chairlift connects the top terminal with the summit. This is where the challenging, black-graded run begins, leading down to the top cable car station and down to the valley. The views along the route are superb, ranging from the Odle/Geisler-Spitzen Dolomite pinnacles to the town of Bressanone. Of course the run can be joined at the top terminal of the gondola lift.
