Can you solve the riddles, follow the clues, and catch the culprit?

    This family-friendly trail combines storytelling, discovery, and play in the heart of the Dolomites. With a captivating audio drama, an adventure booklet, and creative installations along the path, children aged 6 to 14 dive into a world of legends, wildlife encounters, and natural wonders.

    As they move through the forest, kids stay active, sharpen their minds, and collect points that contribute to reforestation efforts – learning through fun how to care for the environment.

    Set along a peaceful loop trail on Golfrion Mountain, this path offers 18 mindfulness exercises that you can explore with a guide or independently using the free app. The open, quiet landscape shaped by the Vaia storm and the majestic views of the Latemar massif create the perfect setting for introspection and presence.

    Developed by psychologist and mindfulness trainer Dr. Thomas Bernagozzi, this trail is more than a hike – it’s a journey inward.

    Summer hike from Baita Gardonè into the dragon forest

    A walk straight out of a fairy tale: the Dragon Forest in Gardonè is a magical place where art, imagination and nature come together to create a unique family adventure. Located at 1,650 metres above sea level, the 1.4 km trail winds through forest glades and sunny clearings, passing land art installations and hidden scenic viewpoints. The path is fully accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.

    With a beautifully illustrated activity booklet full of riddles, stories and clues, the hike becomes an interactive experience for children and parents alike. And every Sunday, Nicholas the Dragon leads a special guided walk – full of wonder, laughter and fantasy.

    Family hike to the Rocket Tree House in Steinegg|Collepietra
    Völs am Schlern/Fiè allo Sciliar, Dolomites Region Eggental
    Embark on a short, family-friendly hike to the unique Rocket Tree House near Steinegg|Collepietra. Starting from the village square, follow path no. 2 past Lex Market, and after about 20 minutes, you'll reach this impressive wooden structure resembling a rocket. The barrier-free and stroller-friendly trail leads you through the picturesque forest adventure zone called Öl. The Rocket Tree House is a highlight of the "Path of the Stars" and invites both young and old to explore and marvel. The return is via the same route, totaling approximately 40 to 45 minutes for the round trip.

    Important note: There are no refreshment stops at the Rocket Tree House. However, at the start and end point in Steinegg|Collepietra, you will find several restaurants, cafés, and two shops.

    Experience Trail BeeForest in Steinegg|Collepietra

    This circular trail takes you on a journey into the fascinating world of bees. Along the family-friendly path, differnt stations bring the connection between bees, forests, and humans to life. The trail winds through dense woodlands and blooming meadows, always accompanied by the hum of these busy pollinators.

    A special highlight is the Beekeeping House, where you can take a close look at the bustling activity inside a beehive through an observation comb. See firsthand how bees work, communicate, and produce honey – a unique insight into their incredible world.

    A hands-on experience for all ages, offering knowledge and a deep connection to nature.

    Please note: There are no places to stop for refreshments on this short circular walk, but there are several picnic areas. One option for refreshments is the Untereggerhof inn. This can be reached by taking a short detour from the beekeeper's house towards the observatory and is not directly on the tour route. Walking time: 30 minutes (1.5 km).

    You hike through the beautiful natural landscape of the Eggental Valley and take a journey through our solar system - the Planet Path makes it possible! This special hike brings you closer to the fascinating vastness of the universe. 

    Starting from our star, the sun, which can be seen on the wall of the observatory, you will find all 8 planets of our solar system as well as the dwarf planet Pluto at their true-to-scale distance from the sun. Every step you take corresponds to about 1 million kilometres. And yet you will be travelling for almost 3 hours until you have visited all the planets. 
    At each station, you will learn exciting facts about the celestial bodies and their unique characteristics.

    Download the free app izi.TRAVEL onto your mobile phone and search for the "Planetary Trail Gummer". Activate the GPS function on your mobile phone and you'll have your own personal audio guide with you on the tour. At each planet station, this digital guide will tell you interesting facts about the respective planet.

    The Planet Path is not only an adventure for anyone interested in astronomy, but also for nature lovers who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the South Tyrolean landscape.
    The route is easy to walk and takes you through idyllic forests, over gentle hills and along vantage points that offer you ever-changing views of the mountains. 

    Important note: There are no refreshment stops along the entire circular route. However, at the start and end of this hike you will find the Unteregger inn, which will spoil you with South Tyrolean specialities.

    Path of the Stars from Gummer|San Valentino to Steinegg|Collepietra

    This theme trail connects the two star villages of Gummer | S. Valentino and Steinegg | Collepietra. On this varied hike, you can dive into the secrets of the starry sky and the universe together with our mascot LUXI at 7 different stations.
    Through an oversized old camera at the beginning of the trail, you start or zoom yourself directly into the universe, so to speak. On the way, you will test a date sundial and a rotating star map, pass the observatory and solar observatory, learn how to orientate yourself in the night sky, children can let off steam in the rocket tree house and finally you will end up at the Mini Star Trail in Steinegg | Collepietra, which is illuminated in the evening in the correct colours of the respective stars.

    Possibilities for a break:
    • at the farm Untereggerhof at the observatory after 3.5 km (approx. 1 1 /2 hours) from Gummer|S.Valentino
    • in the village of Steinegg|Collepietra at the end of the Path of the Stars you will find two local shops and various places to stop for a break:

    Hike & Bike Eggental – You can't decide whether you'd rather explore the Eggental on foot or by bike? Then it's best to do both! The Eggental E-Bike Sharing in combination with our countless hiking routes make it possible.

    With the bus we reach Passo Costaluga where we take the path to a mysterious rock labyrinth which a huge landslide from the Latemar a long time ago has formed at the foot of the Latemar.where we follow the signposts no. 21 and 17, stretching underneath the Latemar. First we walk along a broad forested trail, until we reach the first signpost "Labyrinth". Immediately the forest ends and the mighty Latemar towers into the sky in front of our eyes.
