In the village and surrounding area, those who can produce their own farm products. On a small scale, often only for their own family and a few neighbors and friends.Hardly a meal goes by without juice, jam, vegetables, or wine from our gardens and orchards. Recently, we have also often been enjoying microgreens produced by our son Ulrich.We like to share what we have with guests staying with us and with guests from the village and the surrounding area. It has become clear that tasty basic products from regional, rural production are very popular in South Tyrol.

At the "Ansitz Romani", there is a small atmospheric restaurant, managed by your host Armin Pernstich in person and in which you can select from the delicate dishes of the sophisticated regional cuisine and from refined Italian dishes. Exquisite dishes, a glass of fine wine and the special atmosphere of the historic rooms and the picturesque inner courtyard make an evening in the "Taberna Romani" a wonderfully enjoyable experience.

The Oberhauser restaurant with its large, shady garden is located in the village centre of Terlan. In addition to classic South Tyrolean cuisine and fish dishes, you can also enjoy pizzas (in the evening and Thurs/Fri/Sat also at lunchtime) and asparagus dishes in spring.

Arrival From the Bolzano Sud motorway exit, immediately take the direction of Merano (Me-Bo highway), take the first exit towards Appiano / Caldaro following the "Strada del vino" signs. after approx. 100 mt., At the intersection, turn left towards Bolzano / Frangarto at the first roundabout go right towards Cornaiano. The Restaurant "Zur Pfeffermühle" is located 8 km from Bozen on the road to Kaltern. The house is surrounded by fruit orchard, with a big terrace, wintergarden and a snuggery. On the menu card you can find various dishes and a various salat buffet. We offer pizza also for lunch. Big car park and playground for kids. Day off: Wednesday.

The Luggin family has set up an interesting farm inn at St. Nikolaus near Kaltern, a local place of pilgrimage. You can reach the rustic cellar via the farm shop with its numerous farm products and enjoy South Tyrolean farm dishes with a glass of wine, fruit juice or spirits from the farm's own organic distillery. Open from mid-March to start of December from Wednesday to Saturday after 5.00 p.m. Booking recommended.
