The Hintereis chairlift brings skiers up to 3.115m a.s.l. - the view to the surrounding summits is impressive. Two red ski runs bring back to the valley and to the Bella Vista mountain hut with igloos, sauna and the highest open air pool of Europe.
The new Cableway Naifjoch 10-seater connects the ropeway mountain station with the far end of the skiing and hiking resort. It is open also to pedestrians.

The famous Alpine Coaster "Klausberg Flitzer", a summer toboggan run, which is unique to South Tyrol due to its length and steepness, has already made one or two break out in a cold sweat - the speed experience of 2 km at Klausberg, peppered with jumps and 360° spins.

The chairlift brings skiers and pedestrians in only six minutes directly to the Teufelsegghütte mountain hut at 2.453m. a.s.l.

The König Laurin II aerial tram takes skiers, hikers, climbers, and alpine climbers to the new, invisible mountain station at the Cologne Hut (2,339 meters above sea-level). Upon arrival, you'll feel that you can almost reach out with your hand and touch the face of the "Rose Garden" cliffs, and you can enjoy the fascinating view of all of South Tyrol and the Latemar – declared a World Nature Heritage Site of the Dolomites by UNESCO. Each gondola features ten seats. Highlight: the new „invisible“ mountain station is an architecture project from Werner Tscholl.
The in 2017 newly built cable car on the left side of the valley leads to the high plateau Lazaun (2,430m).The new cable car traverses a change in altitude of 430 metres (1,400 feet) and can transport up to 1,980 passengers per hour. The 27 closed gondolas conveniently take skiers, tobogganers and winter hikers up to the Lazaun mountain station in just under four minutes. The mountain station lies at 2,430 metres (7,970 feet) above sea level and is the starting point of two ski slopes of intermediate difficulty covering a total distance of around 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) as well as a toboggan track of 3.3 kilometres (2 miles) in length.
Refreshment: The Lazaun mountain hut offers a giant sunny terrace.
The four-seater chairlift "Sonnklar" takes you up to the mountain ridge, reaching the highest point of the ski area Speikboden at 2400m. Directly at the exit of the lift there is an viewing tower with photo point: 360° panorama with 150 peaks and more than 80 three-thousanders. Enjoy the wonderful view on the Dolomites with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo/Drei Zinnen, on the Zillertaler Alps, on the Durreck-group. The descent on the slope from Sonnklar to the valley station is a thrilling experience, given the difference in height of 1,500 meters - the largest of all ski areas in South Tyrol.
In summer the top station of the chairlift is a popular starting point for many hikes. The summit cross Sonnklar can be reached in a few minutes - the Speikboden summit can be reached in about 40 minutes.
It's a mere seven-minute ride on South Tyrol's largest ropeway to what the locals lovingly call the sun deck of Merano – that's award-winning architecture and sustainable mobility fused into one of the most cutting-edge ropeway systems in the Alps.
With services running every 15 minutes, each cabin can carry up to 120 passengers (plus one cabin attendant) from the city right to the doorstep of the skiing and hiking resort of Merano 2000 – at an altitude of 2,000 m above sea-level.

Taking the gondola ropeway Marinzen, in the immediate vicinity of the village centre of Kastelruth-Castelrotto you reach the Marinzen Alp in a few minutes. From there you can undertake a series of exciting hikes. The beautiful excursions to the Puflatsch-Bullaccia or to the Seiser Alm-Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high plateau, are just two examples that will make the hearts of hiking enthusiasts beat faster.
For those who want to spend some time on the Marinzen Alp, the mountain hut Alpin Marinzen with its beautiful sun terrace as well as the beautifully situated Schafstallhütte (about 15 minutes’ walk away) invite to stop off. There is a petting zoo for the little ones on the Marinzen Alp as well as a big adventure playground and a fish pond for fishing (day passes can be borrowed at the Marinzenhütte).
Malga di Tarres and Malga di Laces at the Monte Tramontana of Laces in Val Venosta invite to numerous hikes, high mountain tours and bike tours in summer. Lago di Tarres, Laghi del Covolo, Jochwaal irrigation channel, Zwölferkreuz peak, Orecchia di Lepre (glacier) or Gran Ladro are just some examples. Other popular tours are the crossing to Val d’Ultimo or the pleasant alpine pasture tour. All hikes offer marvelous panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
You can comfortably reach the Malga di Tarres and Malga di Laces hiking paradise by chair lift. In winter, it turns into one of the most unspoilt areas for snowshoe hikers and ski tourers.
The chairlift ist the fastest and most convenient mode of transport between Dorf Tirol/Tirolo and the centre of Merano. It starts at Monte S. Benedetto and offers wonderful panoramic views of Merano.
The panoramic cablecar Siusi-Seiser Alm takes little and grown-up outdoor fans in a few minutes from Siusi allo Sciliar (1.015m) up to Compaccio (1.857m) to the high plateau Seiser Alm, also known as Europe’s largest mountain plateau.
Once you have reached the top, the unique natural landscape of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage, countless outdoor experiences, spectacular mountain peaks, breathtaking views awaits you and you can enjoy the vastness of the Seiser Alm, the warming sun rays and the fresh and clean alpine air.

A day on the Seiser Alm combines outdoor activites with the unforgettable scenery of the Dolomites such as the Sciliar, Sassopiatto and Sassolungo and with culinary moments in the cosy alpine huts.

The Alpe di Seceda is located on the sunny side of Val Gardena, at the foot of the Parco Naturale Cisles-Odle (nature reserve), part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage and represents an ideal base for hikes and climbing tours.
At the top station of the cable car you can enjoy a marvellous view of almost the entire South Tyrol as well as of the mountains in Trentino, Lombardy and Austria. Last but not least, you can admire the breathtaking peaks of the nearby Dolomites, of course: from the Tofane, the Sciliar and the Sella Massif to the Sassolungo and the "pearl" of the Dolomites, the "Marmolada".
From the Seceda summit you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Dolomites and of all the mountains in South Tyrol - from Ortles to Großglockner (Austria).
The 6-seater chairlift on the Piz La Ila - Piz Sorega plateau serves as a link between the villages of San Cassiano and La Villa.
In summer, the chairlift is the ally of families, hikers and mountain bikers who want to enjoy the plateau without hiking or cycling too many kilometers.
In winter, two red slopes start from the Bamby chairlift. The slopes are used by many ski teams as a training areal with regard to the Ski World Cup races.
This chairlift gives you access to the most demanding but panoramic ski runs of the whole area. Passing by the Teufelsegghütte mountain hut you reach, always on black ski runs, the village Maso Corto/Kurzras.
