Starting at the inn Jaufensteg, the Pfeifer-Huisile-Path leads along the valley path to Bichl/Colle and on to Vallettina, where the ruins of the birthplace of the sorcerer can be seen. The "Pfeifer Huisele", which was above all distinguished by his humour, is without doubt one of the most famous Tyrolean mythical figures. In the manner of Till Eulenspiegel, a well-known folklore character from northern Germany, he roamed through valleys and mountains on his little donkey. His ideas were so whimsical that you can still laugh about them today. Along the way, several information signs in text and pictures inform about the life of the Pfeifer Huisile. To get back to the starting point, you can either walk back the same way or take the public bus from Larchhof.

We start in the village of Gasteig/Casateia, cross the main road and go along the Mühlbachlweg trail as far as the signposts. We then follow the trail up the valley towards Stange/Stanghe. At first, a well-marked but narrow trail takes us through an interesting forest with a number of inviting benches to rest on. Soon the trail becomes wider and the scenery more varied: a river biotope, a newly-planted forest, low-growing mixed woodland and meadows. At Stange we go over a bridge and walk along the tarmac cycle path to Mareit/Mareta. If you wish, you can walk to the square by the church where an interesting nature trail begins. Exploring the themes of woodland and water, it takes you past the castle (open for visitors). The return is along the same route. You can also start the hike in Stanghe, which shortens it by about an hour. Quality of the trail: for a short distance, narrow, then wider and tarmac to Stanghe. All types of buggy. Things to see on the way: South Tyrol’s rock garden, museum at Wolfsthurn Castle (Schloss Wolfsthurn), Woodland & Water hiking/nature trail.
The leisurely Green Town Walk in Brixen/Bressanone leads through its most picturesque green zones, highlighting the more significant historic areas and buildings in the oldest town in Tyrol.
This family hike is above all something special for animal lovers, as it leads directly next to the Altschluderbach animal park and also offers the opportunity to visit it directly. Native animal species such as deer, wild boar, roe deer, native birds and the like are kept there, but because of the large area and the location in the forest, they enjoy complete freedom.

The first leisure promenade in Lana was developed into an extended trail in 1888/89 by the then Teiss landlord, Alois Stauder. From the center of the village of Lana in just a few minutes you will find yourself suddenly surrounded by the "wild" nature of the enchanting Gaulschlucht gorge; splashing water, peace & quiet, steep rock faces and rope bridges.
