Circular walk, no fear of heights required
This circular walk allows you to look behind the largest waterfall in South Tyrol, leads to emerald green pools and small waterfalls. Breathtaking viewpoints and the sound of cascades invite you to linger and relax. If you want to get very close to the Partschins waterfall before you start your walk, you can make a short detour (5 minutes walk) to the viewing platform.
The Aschbach/Rio Lagundo cable car quickly ascends to 1,362 m, bringing visitors up to the attractive village of Aschbach/Rio Lagundo, one of the best hikes for exploring the Nörderberg mountain!
We take the path of the chestnuts (Keschtnweg) from the centre of Villanders to the medieval city of Klausen. After a short visit we leave the city to the western direction and follow the district of Frag. Then we take the way nr. 4, which leads through the best vineyard locations of Villanders, to return to the centre of Villanders.
From Garner Wetterkreuz follow the trail number 10 direction Kühberg. Through forests and mountain meadows it goes uphill to the tree line and the "Stoaneren Mandl". From there on path no. 10A up to Königanger. From Königanger can you reach by trail number 7 the Radlsee. The return route is by route no. 10 and no. 14 to Bruggerschupfe until Kühhof. From Kühhof you take the path 17.

This high waterfall of almost 100 metres is the main landmark of Partschins/Parcines, a highlight for any visitor. The Merano High Mountain Trail n° 24 runs for almost 100 km around the Texel Group Nature Park, from farm to farm, from village to village, from valley to valley. On this stage you can get to know a short section of the Merano High Mountain Trail West! This very popular stage of the Merano High-Altitude Trail is spectacular and full of views. Legendary on the Merano High Mountain Trail is the 1000-step gorge (1000-Stufen Schlucht) with suspension bridge! The famous 1000-Stufen Schlucht: there are "only" 987 steps, but they are quite a challenge...your knees may shake a little afterwards)
If you are looking for solitude and want to enjoy nature and its sea of flowers to the full, the western circuit of the Gsell mountain is highly recommended. It can be walked either directly from the centre of Sexten or from the Innerfeldtal valley.
Thanks to its exposed and central position, the Pic mountain is a unique panoramic mountain that can be scaled without much effort. Also, the Sëurasas mountain is considered a real jewel among insider.
Wonderful four-hour difficult mountain hike to the lonely mountain farms of the Vertigner and Tablander hamlets.
Tabland and Vertigen are two small hamlets on the steep slopes of the Partschinser Sonnenberg.
Here you can find the oldest and partly historical mountain farms (reclamation in the High Middle Ages) of the Partschins municipality. Approximately one thousand metres in altitude separate the farms from the village.
The mountain hamlet Tabland (1,243 m) consists of the oldest Partschins mountain farms: Egger, Brunner, Oberlechen (1,350 m), Raweiner, Prünster (1,196 m). From the Prünster, which runs a restaurant in addition to the farmhouse, you have a wonderful view of the remaining farms Steiner (1,442 m), Fletscher (1,290 m), Rammwald and Dursterhof (1,057 m).
The Sasso Piatto il situated between Val Gardena and the Altopiano dello Sciliar in proximity of the Sassolungo.
Hike along the Monte di Mezzo, through the Spring Valley, around the Lakes of Monticolo and to the ruins of Castelchiaro.
