Family hike from Lajen to Albions via Ansitz Lusenegg to Ried and back to Lajen.
Itinerary

We start in Lajen with our hiking guide Helmuth. Via the Vogelweider circular trail you hike always slightly downhill to the first stage to Albions. From there you continue along trail no. 5a to Ansitz Lusenegg. This estate is particularly well known because it is home to the highest sweet chestnut tree in Europe. After a short walk you return to Albions where you rejoin the Vogelweider circular trail. This leads you further to Ried. There arrived one of the many Törggelehöfe invites you to eat. After the refreshment you continue to the birthplace of Walther von der Vogelweide. From here you follow the Vogelweider Rundweg again to Lajen.

Directions

Coming from the north you will reach our region via Munich - Kufstein - Innsbruck - Brenner - Klausen (exit Chiusa / Val Gardena), the SS Val Gardena - at the roundabout in Novale/Ried-Lajen you turn to Lajen/Laion.  From here you are within a few minutes in your resort Lajen.
