The panoramic trail at Speikboden is a scenic circular hike offering magnificent views of the Zillertal Alps and the surrounding three-thousanders.
Using the cable car Speikboden to reachan altitude of 2000m. Turn to the right and go up to the hillocks Kleiner Nock and Großer Nock (trail n. 18a); go along to the summit Speikboden (2517m, trail n. 18, 27); pass the mountain station of the chair lift Sonnklar and the Sonnklarhütte hut and go to the hillock Sonnklar Nock (2390m); go down to the Trejer Alm hut (Äußere Michlreis Alm, trail n. 26, 27b); return to the Speikboden Alm at 2000m (trail n. 26, mountain station of the cable car Speikboden).
Alternatively you can use the chair lift Sonnklar to descent from 2400m to 2000m. Of course this route can be made in reverse direction too.
We take line 450 and get off at the bus stop "Kabinenbahn Speikboden".
From Sand in Taufers, we drive upstream until we reach the valley station of Speikboden. There is a large parking area.
