Information: Depending on weather conditions: with freshly fallen snow in parts only accessible with snow shoes.
From the tourist office in S. Martino walk on the sidewalk along the road to the Marakirchl chapel, from there turn right and cross the road to the Örlerhof farm. There you turn right and arrive after a few kilometers at the Karbacherhof farm (refreshment stop; also reachable by car). From the Karbacherhof you set out on the hike to the Gallfallalm huts. Follow the trail markers No. 36 and No. 42. After half an hour you reach a reservoir and shortly after the Leachalm hut. Climb for a while and after approx. 20 minutes you reach the Gallfallalm at 1667 m (no refreshment stops).
