King Laurin Tour

The starting point is the Tiers Cabrio cable car, which takes you comfortably uphill. From there, you continue with the König Laurin I & II gondolas into higher alpine terrain. The hike begins along the Hirzel trail (paths no. 549 and 552). This section includes some narrow and more demanding passages, so sure-footedness is required. Along the trail, impressive views of the surrounding mountain landscape repeatedly open up. Further along, you reach the mountain station of the Paolina chairlift, which you then take downhill towards Lake Carezza. From the valley station, follow path no. 6, which passes a small chapel. After crossing the main road, continue on path no. 10 to the lake. The lake can be completely circled on a loop trail and impresses with its unique natural scenery. The route then continues to the visitor center and across the parking area to the suspension bridge. After crossing it, follow path no. 6 again until the junction with path no. 16. This path leads toward the Tschein chairlift, which takes you back uphill. Finally, return with the König Laurin I gondola and the Cabrio cable car to the starting point.
