Trail Schwarzenstein - high altitude trail Stabeler

Starting from the Rotbachalm in St. Johann/San Giovanni, you walk across fields and meadows to the Daimerhütte (hut), the Schwarzensteinhütte (hut) at 3,026 m and up to the summit at 3,368 m. From there, you go back down the same path to Sandreine, follow the high altitude trail Stabeler in direction Chemnitzerhütte (hut), a slight ascent to the Zwilchler Törl (2,846 m), easy descent via the Schwarzbachtal up to the Schwarzbachtörl (2,544 m), it then goes slightly downhill again through the Mitterbachtal and again uphill to the joint gap (2724 m). Then it goes downhill again to the Moosboden and another easy ascent to the Chemnitzerhütte (hut). Follow the high altitude trail Kellerbauer to the Tristensee (small lake) and afterwards take the descent to Weißenbach/Rio Bianco to the destination.
