Starting from the Gsiesertal Valley – St. Magdalena, Head of the valley (1465 m) you cross the stream and ascend in the direction of the farms Habererhöfe continuing along the old road of Gsiesertal Valley towards Welsberg. Below the Weckeler farms you follow the meditative intinerary on the left. When you reach the Kapairen farmhouse, cross the main road, just before the village center of St. Martin. Along the Gsiesertal Valley stream you continue to the village of Pichl. Continuing along the “Talblickweg” path you reach after approx. 5 km Wiesen in Taisten and after a few kilometers the center of Taisten. From here you can take the regular bus back to the point of departure. This hike is suitable for exploring the beauty of the Gsiesertal Valley. The trail can also be done in sections.
