Tonis Waldwegile is a lovingly designed nature adventure trail in Antholz Mittertal and a special destination for families with children. Along the circular route, visitors will find numerous interactive and educational stations dedicated to the forest, nature and animals.

Children and adults alike can playfully discover the forest habitat: from the barefoot trail and cone stations to information about ants, tree species and wood. Along the way, seating areas, forest sofas and small adventure zones invite visitors to relax and enjoy nature.

The trail leads through shady woodland and is ideal for warm summer days. Thanks to the short distances and the many varied stations, the hike is never boring for children.

Tonis Waldwegile combines nature experiences, movement and playful learning in a particularly family-friendly way.

Itinerary

The starting point of Tonis Waldwegile is in Antholz Mittertal along the Müller-Kofel trail (n. 1).

The circular trail follows easy forest paths through shady woodland and passes numerous adventure stations. Along the route, visitors can discover:

  • forest sofas and rest areas
  • a barefoot trail
  • information about tree species and tree rings
  • stations about ants, moss and wood
  • cone throwing and nature games
  • the historic Burggega mill
  • several viewpoints and family areas

The circular route is well signposted and ideal for families with children.

The return follows the circular trail back to the starting point.
