This relaxed alpine hike begins at the scenic Laab Alm and leads through airy forests and open meadows to two welcoming mountain huts – perfect stops to pause and enjoy. The first stretch is easy and peaceful, following a wide forest track that offers occasional views of the surrounding peaks.
Neuhütt Alm is known for its warm hospitality and delicious South Tyrolean cuisine – an ideal spot for your first break. The trail then continues through gentle woodland paths to the quiet and beautifully situated Petersberger Leger Alm, surrounded by wide pastures and alpine silence.
This circular route is perfect for families, leisure hikers, and anyone looking for a calm day in nature. It’s a gentle mix of natural beauty and local flavors – a hiking experience that stays with you.
The hike starts at Laab Alm (1,648 m), accessible by car via a forest road. From the parking area, follow trail [1], which gently ascends through open forest and offers peaceful scenery.
After about 45 minutes, you’ll reach Neuhütt Alm (1,791 m) – a welcoming hut with traditional food and beautiful views from its sunny terrace.
Continue along trail [2] through a quiet forest until you arrive at Petersberger Leger Alm (1,770 m), peacefully nestled in wide alpine meadows.
To return, take trail [1B], a gentle downhill path through the forest that leads back to Laab Alm.
Getting to the starting point of the tour by public transport is easy and convenient.

- 180 (change 181 o 184) from Val di Fassa
