Furkel Trail

From the Fragges game reserve, located above Stilfs, we first take a root-covered path and then a forest road to just before the mountain hut Stilfser Alm (trail no. 2). Shortly before the hut, we take a sharp left onto trail no. 4 and walk along a beautiful track in the direction of the alpine hut Rifugio Forcola. Always in sight: the glaciers of the Ortles Alps. In front of the Rifugio Forcola we briefly continue on a large military path before a small steep trail leads us to the hut. We continue our tour along a forest path until we reach the mountain hut Prader Alm. The trail no. 7 alternates between forest roads and hiking trails from here to the starting point. TIP: A young and motivated team with great regional food awaits you at the mountain hut Obere Stilfser Alm.
