The circular hiking trail with duration of 3 hours and 45 minutes is perfect to make an excursion with the whole family. Besides a cross and a small pond, there is also a lot to discover at the Unterpulghut.
From San Pietro you take the Poststeig in the direction of Ortisei. Before the restaurant Pedrutsch there is a fork where you turn left. Now follow the path up to Ranatsch and always upwards following the trail marking no. 9 to the Cross Pineider. After a short rest, continue leisurely to the pond Tschan and then follow trail no. 9a to Unterpulghut (1580m, refreshments available). From there, follow trail no. 34 to the Noflatsch crossroads, where you turn left onto trail no. 34a. This leads to Tanurza and to the Poststeig, which brings you back to St. Peter.
Coming from the north you will reach our region via Munich - Kufstein - Innsbruck - Brenner - Klausen (exit Chiusa / Val Gardena), the SS Val Gardena. At the junction turn to the left and follow the road to St.Peter/Lajen
