Golf is glamorous in Lana: not only because the golf club has a Par 70 course, but also because its owner Count Brandis is a perennial favorite with locals and visitors alike. The renowned British golf course designer Michael Pinter created a unique course with three 3 par, four 4 par, and two 5 par holes along approx. 2,800 meters at the historical site of Brandisburg Castle in Lana.
The course at the foot of Brandisburg Castle can be played almost all year round because of the mild climate in the region. Because of its relative length with few inclines, this course is a favourite of seasoned golfers and beginners alike. Those who wish to hone their golfing skills can avail of highly skilled professional golf tutors at the adjacent Golf School, owned and operated by the former British national team trainer, Chris Mawdsley.
