Starting point: Pfitscher Joch Haus (2.275m) Route: From the parking lot at the 4th bend of the road "Pfitscherjochstraße", follow hiking trail 4A up to the Landshuter Höhenweg and then continue left along trail no. 3 (Landshuter Tiroler Höhenweg) to the refuge Europahütte at the Friedrichshöhe. Alternative: starting from St. Jakob (Pfitschtal Valley) follow the path no. 3B along the stream and then up a forested slope to the mountain pasture. Continue over alpine pastures to the Landshuter high path and finally to the refuge Europahütte. Surefootedness and appropriate equipment strictly necessary!
