Simply walk from Bruneck/Brunico to Reischach/Riscone; partly through the woods and partly along the pathfields.
Starting point of the hike is the Tschurtschenthaler Park near the Ursuline Church in the centre of Bruneck. From here you cross the underpass to reach the other side of the road and then hike along trail no. 20 to the Soldiers' Cemetery, which is located in the middle of a beautiful forest. The wide hiking trail continues pleasantly uphill to the "Kühbergl" and its highest point, the "Kaiserwarte", where an obelisk reminds of the former observation tower once built for Emperor Franz Josef I, after whom the hill was named. The field path finally leads to the centre of Reischach/Riscone. Return on the same way or take the city bus no. 420.1 back to Bruneck/Brunico.
