The Laas Leiten Trail is a varied hike that combines nature, culture and stunning views. Along the way, you will pass through scenic forests and meadows, follow historic irrigation channels (waal paths), and discover fascinating insights into the world of Laas marble.

Highlights include the Loretzboden with its beautiful views and the “Marble Window”, framing the surrounding mountain landscape. This route offers a perfect blend of relaxation, activity and local character – ideal for experiencing Laas in an active and enjoyable way.

Itinerary

From the train station, head towards the village square. From there, follow Dr. Franz Tappeiner Street towards Loretzhof and continue along trail no. 19 up to the Waalerhütte.

On the way back, after a short distance, turn left onto trail no. 20 towards Loretzboden. Once there, continue on trail no. 20 past the “Marble Window”, which gently leads downhill to the old sports field. Then pass through the pedestrian underpass towards the artisan area, walk past the marble works, and return to Laas train station via the Marble World.

Option 1:
After a short break at Loretzboden, follow the signs for the “Apothecary Trail” (Apothekersteig). At the end of the trail, you can return to Laas or continue along panoramic trail no. 20 to Eyrs, where you can take the train back to Laas.
